James
The strangest feeling came over me as I was running along the Springs on my usual morning run. My heart started beating faster, my cock jumped in my shorts and I felt the undeniable urge to storm the town in search of... Well, I didn't know what I would be looking for, but I knew I needed whatever it was that I would find. Seconds later an orange thread came rushing at me and slammed into my chest with a force I thought wouldn't have been possible for a whisp of magic. I had no doubt it was magic, but quite frankly, I didn't really care. I was sure it would lead me to what I was searching for so I followed it towards the center of the town. I knew it was kind of stupid to go on the whims of spells. They weren't actually real, but the urge was completely undeniable.
I sped up and all but sprinted through the lazy town of Silver Springs. I bumped shoulders with Liam, the troll cop, and went around the next corner. There the orange thread disappeared into Jewels Cafe. I almost blasted through the doors and looked around frantically. I knew that whatever I was looking for was in here, but I couldn't see anything connecting to the thread. The orange glow from the back caught my attention and I jumped over the counter to find what belonged to me.
As I burst into the back room, four sets of eyes landed on me. Julian, the owner of the Cafe was staring at me with huge, desperate eyes. Amber's surprised ones, with wrinkled brows, looked me over tentatively while Juniper's amused gaze flickered between me and the last person in the room.
The most beautiful woman I had ever laid my eyes on turned to me and the heat in her gorgeous sapphire eyes had my cock straining uncomfortably against my soft running short.
"Hi there, Handsome," the woman purred. Yes, she really purred. Her hands were still trying to get past Amber. Behind the chameleon shifter stood Julian, with a horrified look on his face.
"Don't let her get me, Bean!"
"You don't think you deserve this just a tiny bit, Julian?" Juniper asked him, her amusement was all too obvious. "You did spell both the latte and that damned book, so why shouldn't you be the one to take the fall when it inevitably went haywire?"
"If Julian won't extinguish the fire between my legs," I growled at that, "then perhaps this good looking fellow will. Wow, take a look at that body!" I blushed as the woman with the wild red and black hair turned fully towards me and my arms opened up to her immediately. She all but jumped into my arms and her lips found mine. Aggressively she demanded access to my mouth. I met her right on, our tongues fighting for dominance as her hands raced up my sweaty pecks and I grabbed her peachy ass to haul her up for a better angle. Her legs wrapped around my hips and her hot center grated against my aching cock.
"Ahem," Juniper interrupted us, "I don't think my dildos will be necessary right this moment. Unless she won't have enough in one cock." She giggled and wriggled her eyebrows at me. "I think we should find an undisturbed corner for these two beasties and see if the intensity of the spell wears off a bit after some Chicka Chicka bow wow."
"But where should we put them?" Julian was no less horrified than when the green-eyed beauty was going for him. "They can't do that right here in the cafe!"
"Well, we do have that spare bedroom upstairs," Amber said, looking a little bit insecure. "Could we get them up there? It would be better than the cafe's back room."
"Ok. I'll get Malakit upstairs," Juniper said, certain of the course of action. "You two, get James."
I had vaguely registered the talk between the others in the room, but when Amber and Julian pulled at Malakit, her name was Malakit, and Juniper tried to draw my attention, I growled at them all for trying to take my mate away from me.
The shocking realization, that I had found my mate, had me dropping her to her feet and Juniper looked me in the eyes.
"Come on, big guy. We will find you somewhere a little more private to enjoy your mate. Julian and Amber will get her your way, don't worry." She winked at me and I grabbed Malakit's hand to followed the bubbly witch out of the backroom and towards the stairs to get the heck out of the cafe.
"STOP!" An agitated timber voice shouted, followed by the sound of chairs and tables scraping across the floor. "Where are you taking my mate?" The frantic voice came closer and a huge man rounded the counter.
His wild blonde hair was a mess around his face and his incredible blue eyes were wild as he sought out Malakit.
"You can't take her. She is my mate!" He pushed his way closer to her and I put my body between them, keeping her out of harm's way and by that, keeping her safe.
"How can she be your mate when she is mine?" I asked him aggressively.
"Well," Juniper said, "if I'm not mistaken, then she has more than just one. I see more than one thread from her chest. Now that I notice it, she is actually glowing a bit less now that the two of you have arrived. Anyway, you guys will just have to figure out how to handle all of this. Right now she is not in a state of choosing. She needs you both to see if the intensity of the spells will calm down a bit if she connects to you properly."I met Juniper's gaze at the same time Malakit's landed on my arm and pushed at me.
"Who is that? Is he for me too?" She asked eagerly. "Jum, gimme!"
"I'm Josh." The blonde told her and met my eyes. "My mates safety and wellbeing is my main concern. If you can work with that, I can for now too." I kept eye contact with him a second longer. He looked slightly more relaxed now that he saw an option to get closer to her.
"Move big guy! I want to have a look at him. He is mine too!" Malakit had no doubt at all, so I had to give her what she wanted. Yup, this mate bond was crazy, right?
