Chapter 1
Freya woke in a cold sweat, panicking about where she was, the room seemed and smelt different from her damp-smelling mansion of a room. It was still pitch black.
The clock read : 2:23. She groaned.
She suddenly remembered all that had happened just a few hours ago.
She had been rescued from her house. The girl had tried to escape many times but her parents who abused her with magic would not let her take a step out the front door.
If she did, she'd be banished from Hogwarts and never allowed to see her friends again.
It was 10:00pm when it happened. There was a tap on her bedroom window. Freya had climbed onto the massive window sill to see a flying, blue car.
Inside the car, she had seen Leda and the twins grinning.
She grabbed her trunk and owl, Kacei and attempted to jump to the car from her window but slipped and smacked her head against the pane of glass. The owl squarked and the girl squealed. She heard footsteps getting closer to her room. Her head spun round.
'FREYA' Angry tones came from outside her room.
The girl was scared she was going to fall. It was a far way down. Plus with her head spinning and pain running through her.
'Jump!' George held his hand out the car window. Her parents barged in.
'TRUST ME, I WONT LET YOU FALL'
'FREYA GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW' Her mum screamed.
The girl shook her head, took a deep breath and leapt.
'YOU DO WHAT YOUR MOTHERS SAYS, GIRL' Her father tried to grab her foot.
The girl screamed. She went falling down, clinging onto her trunk and Kacei.
A hand grabbed her wrist.
George pulled her up into the car. He flung her stuff into the back.
'Are you okay?!'
'Im not sure' she blinked hard, trying to stop the whirlpool in her head.
'YOU GET RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW, CHILD' Her parents called in rage.
Her dad leant out of the window thinking he would be able to climb onto the car. 'GO!' Leda had shouted to Fred, who was driving.
Freya sat in the back, next to Leda.
Leda passed her some water and a jumper, the girl was still in her old,thin pyjamas. 'Here'
Her head ache shrunk as she sipped the water.
They drove, well flew, in the car all the way to the Burrow.
Leda was not a Weasley yet she'd lived there since she ran away from he own home 11 years ago.
Yes she was only 5 when she ran away but she was smart and brave for a girl that age.
Freya recalled the way Molly had shouted at Fred, George and Leda for taking the car with no permission but also been really sweet to her, as she always was.
She was in Leda's room.
It felt homely and smelt like a warm, cosy Christmas Eve beside the fire.
The girl was on an extremely comfy bed opposite to Leda's. She, was currently fast asleep still.
