It's my first day in this new town. I don't really know anyone. School went pretty well and now I'm getting off the bus so I can go home. As I get off the bus, I see two people approach me, one guy and one girl.
" Hi, my name is Maya and this is Ryan. " said the girl introducing herself and her friend.
" Hi, what's your name? " Ryan asked me.
" My name is Leah. Nice to meet you guys. "
" We were just wondering if you would want to come and meet up with us at the park at 3 o'clock. "
" I'll ask my mom and then I'll see what happens. Bye 😊" I said to them.
"Bye."

I was 2:45 when I looked at the clock, and I thought to myself, I'm just going to stay here and have a nap.
And that's exactly what I did.

The next day at school was normal. When school was done for the day, Ryan and Maya sat behind me on the bus and they gave me their facebooks so that we could all chat together.
We got off the bus, said bye to each other and then we all went home.
First, I sent a friend request to Ryan and then to Maya.
5 minutes later Ryan accepted.
Ryan: I was waiting for your friend request 😏
Me: Were you really? 😏😋
Ryan: I was. How's everything with you? Are you liking this town?
Me: Everything is good. I really like this town. There's so much to do and I look forward to meeting more people 😊
Ryan: You will, don't worry. Gtg 😊 Bye Leah
Me: Bye Ryan 😊😊
* 2 days later *
Maya: Hey do you want to go watch the soccer game on tv at the cafe with me?
Me: Sure. at what time and where?
Maya: At 9:30 and at the same place that we go to all the time.
Me: Sounds good 😊 see you soon
Maya: Bye 😊
*1 hour later*
"Hey Maya."
"Hi Leah, this is Marianne. She's one of my friends from school." she said as she introduced Marianne.
"Hi Leah. How are you?" she asked. She seemed pretty nice. She has blond hair and she's pretty tall.
We all had small talk until the game started.
I've got to admit, this town isn't that bad. For once, I actually felt accepted, like they actually liked me for who I was and not for what I had.
I was exited to meet everyone and make memories that would last forever. A couple of days later, Maya invited me to go watch the indoor soccer game with her and her squad. Of course I said yes.
I couldn't wait to meet everyone.

Maya, Ryan and Marianne were there and introduced me to Andrew, Catherine, Danielle and other people.
They are all pretty cool.
I had tons of friend requests when I got home. Once again, I finally felt wanted.
