April 16, 2006~ meeting

"Jeongin, dear, come down we have new neighbors. You wanna meet them!" Jeongin's mother picked up 5 year old Jeongin seeing him running towards her from looking around the new house.

"Yes mommy!" he giggled, wiggling in his mothers grasp.

"I think I saw another little boy you could play with over there!" She said excitedly as she saw a woman walk over with a little boy from the house to the right when you look at the house.

"Really?!" Jeongin didn't get to have friends in the last house. They lived in the city and his mother just couldn't trust people like that. You never know what people are capable of. It was something she always said.

"Yes, dear. He looks really nice too!" The small boy nodded eagerly to his mother, wanting to make a friend desperately.

The woman had reached the door and rung the doorbell while waiting. The small boy next to her jumping excitedly. Inside the house Jeongin had wiggled out of his mother's grasp to go to the door, his mother following him. Once they reached the door, Jeongin's mother opened it, being greeted the woman.

"Hi, I'm Moonbyul, but you can call me Byul and this is my son Hyunjin. We saw you just moved in, and we decided to come meet you as your neighbors." She smiled as Hyunjin jumped around more after hearing his name.

"Oh, hi I'm Dahyun it's nice to meet you, and this is Jeongin. There's not much in here yet but you can come in if you'd like." The younger woman smiled and lead the older in.

"Oh, such a beautiful house really. I'm glad we finally have someone here." Moonbyul said as they walked in.

"Ah, yes. Quite a beautiful house and a nice neighborhood, too. I'm glad Jeongin has someone his age to play with." Dahyun lead them to the living room where a small couch, coffee table, and tv were set up.

"Can I get you a drink?" She asked walking to the kitchen.

"Oh, uHm, just a water please." Dahyun walked back in with some ice water and an ice tea for herself.

"Oh, yes. Hyunjin's been quite lonely and he doesn't get much guy time without a father." Byul patted the top of Hyunjin's head and set her water on the table.

"Same with Jeongin. His father wasn't there often and with his recent death, I don't think he'll ever get to have a real fatherly figure." The older woman frowned upon heading about the widow.

"Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss, I'm sure he was a good man. Hyunjin's father was never home either. Always out. He said it was work but we had found he was having an affair so me and Hyunjin moved here for a better life without him." Byul grabbed Dahyun's hand to comfort her.

"He was a shitty father. He was never there and when he was he just drank and slept. He only ever got mad at Jeongin because he liked the color pink, which according to him was 'too gay and I'm not having a fag for a son.' He deserved to be in hell where he is. Fuck men." She smirked and leaned back while sipping her tea.
