Fallen Down

I heard a crumple of something underneath me, shielding my fall. I also hear rustles, and birds?
If I was quite sure, my system malfunctioned as my VR headset had lost power during the download and asset loading.
I sat up, and saw my surroundings, believing to still be in my bedroom, when I suddenly can feel the blossoming flower petals underneath my gaunt-(skinny) legs. How the quiet and peaceful serenity was, it was beautiful to now realize I could live here.
I walk up, and as of knowing previous maze games, I walked towards the black pit of darkness-like door.
I walk into it, feeling dread in the newfound exact silence as I step in, seeing dust everywhere. Scattered.
Why was dust here?
All over the flowers too?
I carefully start shaking the flowers to get the dust off, as the dust starts to go into the air and onto my clothes.
I accidentally pulled one out, and I noticed it's roots until-

"Howdy! I'm Flowey. Flowey the Flower!" said a cute cheery voice.

"That's not very unique.. your parents must suck." I bluntly said. I wasn't the type to trust people right away, as my childhood consisted of broken trust often.

"Well, how about this?  I'm Flowey, the pulled out Flower, because someone named..?" he started.

"Si-" I went to answer, but before I could I noticed what was in front of him.
My game data.
How much time I've been there, what system I was using to play, kills, exp, gold, ..and my name.

"Sin, huh? Well, someone named Sin was being an idiot and decided to pull me out of the ground!" he whispered in an irritated tone.
I stared blankly at him, and he changes his expression to a somewhat curious one.

"Golly must you be confused! My name isn't the one that was poorly made. Yours sounds so.. bland." he stated in a 'matter of fact' way.

"You have the audacity to go there?"

"I have no personal need for you to be around. I could kill you for all I care."

I said this proudly. He needed to know that he was still just a flower, and being a brat won't change if I'm scared of a tiny cute flower or not.
He glanced up at my face, but he seemed like a new person.

"Alrighty!" he quickly peeped as he replanted new roots and left.
I decided to look at the other roots I had pulled him from, and noticed most of them gone. The dirt was still indented from where I had pulled though, and when I noticed how deeper and how many roots he had...
I swear a wave of Megalophobia hit me.

I walked out of that room, checking my game stats and seeing just how much time I took on that stupid flower.
14 minutes? Jesus, Sin get your ass moving.
I continue conquering the puzzles, until I run into a tall goat woman. She reminded me of my stepmom and father.

"Uh, hi! Excuse me but how do I play this game?" I asked her nicely.

"Game? Oh do you mean puzzle? Oh dear child I will assist you!" she said with a warm smile.
I will not lie, I felt very touched. I also felt stupid for asking such a 'weird' question to a game character.

"Thank you very m-much ma'am." I politely thanked her. My mother taught me manners at least If she did anything good while parenting.
She guided me through the puzzles, until I eventually was ready to head out.

"Oh, to exit you'll have to go through my tiny, little home.." she states while walking.
"Did you know that snails are my favorite food though?" she randomly asks.

"N-no! I didn't know. I'll remember it now though!" I say as I promise to myself to protect my mom.

My mom?
Maybe I can sneakily ask her.. I'm sort of nervous anyways.

"Hey mom! Can we get something to eat once we are back at your house?" I ask

"I-  yes my child, we can eat some butterscotch+cinnamon pie as a treat for your arrival!" she says while happily smiling at me with that warm look of hers. I feel so safe around her.
Toriel I believe it was.
Well she is mom now.
