Game Day

Emerson's POV

When you always smile at me before my softball games

We were walking into the arena. We were taking pictures of like everything.
And look who it is it's team USA the look fit and anxious to begin the competition. This year competitions will be Basketball, Hockey and Softball! The announcer said!

"Nervous banks?"

"A little." He said

We walked into the arena. We were playing Trinidad Tobago! We were a higher seat then them so we were mostly likely gonna win. I skated up I shoot and I score!

"Good job Emerson!" Coach yelled

Coach switched us out and I over heard Charlie ask if Banks had a girl in the stands but I knew he was joking because he also says he likes me.

We were in the 2 quarter (a/n) srry I don't play hockey lol!) we were winning!

"Yeah yeah score so more my little brother could easily score on these guys!" This random kid said

"Then why don't you bother him then!" Jesse talked back

"Hahaha I don't even got a little brother."

"Jesse! Get out there and show me you want it son!" Coach told Jesse

"Yeah show me you want it son." The kid mocked coach

Coach gave him a look.

"Mkay." The kid said sitting down.

Jesse missed and he was pissed!

"Hey man common!" He said shoving one of the players

"2 minutes unsportsmanlike conduct!" The ref said. Great.

We ended up winning! Tomorrow morning we have an other game then I have my 3rd softball game! My teammates are so nice and we're one of best teams here. (A/n) your teammates names are... Savannah, Marley, Taylor, Kendra, Lorraine, Bri, Zoie, Brynn and Jordan and Emma! These girls we are on my team there all so nice!

The next morning

We had our second hockey game and we won! Now it's time for softball.

"Ok guys now it's time to go watch Emerson play in her softball game!" Coach said. We all headed towards the field, I was already changed in my uniform. Me and my friend Savannah warmed up then she caught me while I was pitching. I was there best pitcher.

"Ok let's go Liberty on 3...1...2...3 LIBERTY!" our team chanted

Alright folks its time to start the game! Today's teams are Liberty and Stars! It's gonna be a very interesting night to night folks!

We were in the field first. I was pitching and Savannah was catching me.

BATTER UP!

I went up to the mound. I saw Adam and gave him a small smile. I started my wined up. Bam! Perfect strike!

STRIKE ONE!

I pitched again. She fouled it.

STRIKE TWO FOUL BALL

She hit it right to Bri but Bri through her out at first!

BATTERS OUT AT FIRST!

"Good Job Bri!" I said

We got the 2 other outs. It's our turn to bat now! Brynn was up she got a double! Then Emma was up. She ran on the drop 3rd and was safe!

"THATS WHY WE HUSLE, THATS WHY WE HUSTLE!" We cheered

Kendra was up. She hit in the air but the caught it.

"Good try Kendra!" Her mom said. Her mom was the coach. The other 2 people stroke out. It was 1-0!

I struck out the other batters but one of them got home.

1-1

We were now in the 6th inning it was 6-6. It was my turn to hit!

"TIME OUT!" The coach called out

Coaches POV

I called time out because I have a perfect plan!

"Alice and Ellie come here!"

"Yes coach?"

"I want you to let her hit the ball but when she comes home, Ellie I want you to step on her arm and hurt her! Then she'll be out of the game!"

They smirked at each other

Emerson's POV

The count was 3-2. Then wam! I got the ball all the way into the outfield. I rounded 1. Then second. Then third! I was going home. My whole team was cheering. I dove into home then. CRACK. The catch stepped on my arm.

"Oh no!" My coach yelled coming over to me. I was crying. I think she broke my arm.

"I can-ntt move my-y arm." I said sobbing

"Someone get me and ice pack!"

She gave me then ice pack and dialed 911.

Adams POV

Oh my gosh! The girl just stepped right on Emerson's arm. I heard a crack noise. Coach didn't seem happy because now we have to play ice land tomorrow with out her and we're definitely gonna need her!

At the hospital back to Emerson's POV

Welp! My arm was sprained! That's just great! I was late to school because I was at the hospital.

"Hey Em, don't worry about it it'll heal in no time!" Charlie said trying to cheer me up

"Thanks you dork."

"Hey were twins so if I'm a dork then you are too!" Said lightly shoving my good arm. I just playfully rolled my eyes at him.

At the lake school thingy

"Hey guys." I said to my team

"Hey." The all said. I sat down next to Adam

"Hey how's your arm?" He asked

"Welp. It's sprained."

"Oh I am so sorry. I hope you get better though."

"Thanks."

Coaches POV

Emerson came to me and told me her arm was sprained. Great. Just what we need. We have to play Iceland tomorrow and we're gonna need her! I just went to bed trying to forget the whole thing. But I couldn't sleep. I ended up getting ice cream with the Iceland lady. I probably shouldn't have done that.
