Chapter 35

The scene starts with Kabir who seems pensive about Pooja. He is skeptical about her silence and wonders what's cooking in her mind. I cannot belittle her potential. Suddenly he felt pain in his hand. He folded his sleeves and looks at the bruise on his left hand. He mutters "Is she an animal or what look how she bit me. She is a dangerous woman". He then caressed it and applied ointment slowly. On the spur of the moment, something came up. He said with a brighter beam"Idea! I have got an excuse to confront Pooja now. First I have to find out whether she is doubting me or not". Kabir made up his mind and decides to confront her.

Pooja is checking herself in front of the mirror. Kabir knocked on the door to get her attention. Pooja saw him at the door and enquires about his visit. Kabir immediately showed an ointment with a grin. I came here to give this.Pooja says "Thanks" and take it from him. She applies it on her left cheek where fingerprints are imprinted. While applying she winches in pain. Kabir asks can I help you? Pooja denies saying she can manage it alone. Kabir silently opens up about yesterday's incident. He exalts "I am really impressed by your courageous avatar Pooja. You fought with those men alone. Hats off".

Pooja thinks about the slap and fumes. She says "I can leave that first one but not the other one. When I find his identity I will make sure he regrets for slapping me. How dare he?" Kabir starts coughing. He thinks "I have to be extra cautious with Pooja. If she finds out that I am the one she is looking for thats all everything will go futile". While he was talking to himself Pooja's voice disturbed him. She asks "what were you doing when I was fighting alone?". Kabir says "What else I was dancing with hot girls" while Pooja glowers. Kabir said "I mean pretty girls. But our performance was the top hit. Isn't it?" Pooja recalls their intimate dance moments while applying for the medicine. Kabir found her struggling to apply it on the back and takes it from her. His action makes Pooja come back from her dreams. She asks him "What are you doing?" Kabir says  "I am helping you". He moved closer and applies medicine on her back. She got injured when Deep threw her on the floor. Pooja is stunned by his touch and confused at her inner feelings. She thinks "what's happening to me why do I feel restless when he is closer to me?".

Kabir is so closer to her that his perfume is alluring Pooja towards him. She gets carried away for a moment. But suddenly her mind hinted her something. She instantly pushed him away. Kabir in a perplexed tone "Did I hurt you?" She said "Nope! Thank you! Leave it I will manage". Kabir is confused looking at her peculiar behavior and leaves the place.A couple of days later, Dhruv paid a surprise visit. He comes there to check whether the ladies are doing fine. Tara asks "Dhruv you are here. Anything special?". Dhruv chuckles "My boss ordered me to check whether three pretty ladies are safe and sound". Tara teases " So you are here as a Spy Too bad Dhruv?" in a playful manner.

Dhruv then looks around and asks about the other two. Tara says Avni has gone out to the parlor and Pooja is inside. I will call her. What do you want to have? Dhruv says "A cup of black coffee would be refreshing". Tara informs Pooja and leaves to the kitchen. Pooja is taken aback by Dhruv's visit and enquires about it. He handed over a document and asks her to keep it safe till Sharma uncle comes back. Pooja is clueless about the document and asks what's this and why are you asking me to safeguard it. you can keep it with you right.

Dhruv says "These are illegal documents worth 100 crores. I can't keep it with me bcz the risks are high. Sharma uncle has asked me to hand it over to you. Pooja says "If dad insists I have no problem. Give it to me" Kabir who is eavesdropping their conversation is left in euphoria. He says in excitement  "JACKPOT !!!100 crores worth of documents. What a twist. Dhruv has made my job easier. Pooja you have cheated us with fake currencies now we are gonna steal the 4 times worth of the money. I am so excited". Kabir immediately calls Deep and informs the same.

Kabir is hiding inside Pooja's room. He is waiting for the documents. Right then Pooja enters the room but to his disappointment, she comes empty-handed. He wonders where is the document. in the meantime, Tara comes with the document. She says "Here it is. I have scrutinized it completely and it's real. As Dhruv mentioned it costs 100 crores. Do you think it's safe to keep it in our guest house?" Pooja says "Indeed it is. Documents will be safe in my digital locker and the password will be automatically reset every 1 hour.

It's really arduous to crack the password and steal the money just like that. In case if someone outsmarted us and opens the locker "Beep" alarm will go off. To open the locker password, my fingerprint and my smartphone access are required". Kabir thinks "I thought it is easy to steal the papers but she has created a three-level security check. Oh, shit is this guest house or world bank. Too much security for a locker!" The scene freezes on Kabir's disdainful look....
