Nightman yawned as he was walking down the sidewalk as the sun began to slowly set. He had decided to stay afterwards to get the school ready for Thanksgiving. Even though a few students were already in the Christmas spirit, he knew that Nightglow would practically snap her book closed and whack their heads with it to get the fact that Thanksgiving is a holiday just like the rest before resuming her book.

He grinned at the thought but with a wince, as he too was like that until he felt the wrath of Nightglow's flashlight end against his shoulder. Speaking of Nightglow...

Nightman's head perked up to see the girl walking down the sidewalk across the street, but she dressed differently. She had a dark golden uniform, and the same colored hat above her head as her ponytail was through the back of the hat. He tilts his head, eyes narrowed as he tried to get a better view of her before looking confused. Nightglow?  He looked around to make sure no cars were driving by, and rushed across the street but was keeping his distance from the other, but blinked to see her waving to someone, picking up the pace.

"Woah..." he murmurs quietly, spinning around on the spot. He stood in a sidewalk that brought him to parking lot that has several stores to it. Nightman blinked to see Nightglow meet someone in front of a building, the person there waving with one hand, the other spinning a ring of keys.

"Ready for the night, Nightglow?" the person asked, and she sighed, readjusting her hat for a second before she snapped her head over to Nightman, making him flinch and nervously smile.

"Nightman? What are you doing here?" she asked calmly, her arms crossed as the other looked over, grabbing hold of the ring of keys and keeping the door open.

"Uhhh, well. To be honest, I was walking home from helping out with having to get ready for Thanksgiving, and I saw you walking here, so I wondered where you were going, so I followed you and here I am." he honestly answered with a hint of nervousness.

"Why were you following her?" the other asked. "Also, I'm NightForget!" she adds.

"Uh, nice meeting you NightForget. And all I could say is that I was curious. Also, is this the place where you get your paychecks or something?!" he asked, gesturing towards the door and Nightglow glanced at NightForget who grins in excitement at her.

"You do realize that this place might traumatize him, right?" Nightglow asked, glancing at NightForget.

"I'm already traumatized, thank you very much. F-From a friend." Nightman answers.

"Ever been in a Freddy's? Or rather, ever been a worker under William Afton?" he asked, and Nightman blinked.

"The old princip-"

"Yes, the old principal." Nightglow sighs.

"Um, no, not really." Nightman shook his head.

"Nightglow, can he come along? It'll be an fun!" NightForget grins.

"It'll be an experience." Nightglow corrects her, reaching over and holding the door open so that NightForget could drag him into the building, and closed and locked the door after NightForget tossed the keys over to her.

Nightman looked around in wonder but stiffened to see stilled animatronics. "Since you seem to be unbeknownst of the whole franchise, Freddy Fazbear, Chica the Chicken, Bonnie the Bunny, and over there in the purple curtains of Pirate's Cove is Foxy the Pirate Fox." she explained to him, gesturing to each of the animatronics.

"Anymore?" Nightman asked.

"There are the toys." Nightglow said, walking up to him. "This place was run by Afton, but another person took it over. The originals were once before withered, but they were able to repair them and now there's the originals, the toys, and by the prize corner is the Marionette, or Puppet with that annoying B.B, and in Kid's Cove is the Mangle."

"How do you know all these things?" Nightman asked, looking at her but Nightglow didn't answer, instead going to bring them to the office and checked the office.

"Also, did you want to come?" Nightglow asked Nightman.

"This seems like an easy job, just watch out for thieves, right?" he grins, but the two gave each other a glance and back over.

"Not... really. Not really, no." Nightglow shook her head, retrieving her flashlight and looked over. "I'm going to need to turn off the power switch towards the back. You two bond." Nightglow said before walking down the hallway and disappearing in the corner.

It was an awkward silence, the two glancing at each other and looking elsewhere, either drumming their fingers on the desk or checking the cameras.

"So... There are other animatronics than the originals?" Nightman awkwardly asked.

"Yup." NightForget answers simply, and Nightman blinks before glancing away awkwardly, the silence stretching. "Wait, why's the other one called the Mangle than Toy Foxy?" he asked, looking over.

"Um, from what I read, the kids keep tearing Toy Foxy, and workers began to get exhausted from having to repair them, so the staff, not me or Nightglow, we're just night guards. What were we talking about?" NightForget hums for a second, tapping the side of her head. "Oh right! The staff just decided of scrapping them, to have it be a "take apart and put back together" attraction." NightForget explains, slightly pulling up a sticky note from her pocket and tucking it back in.

"Sheesh... That's sad." Nightman whispers.

"Yeah..." NightForget sighs, looking up before they saw the ceiling lights in the halls suddenly go out, and there was the ringing of the phone. NightForget rolled her eyes at that and looked at the camera.

"Wait, aren't you-"

"Don't worry about it, the darn thing has started making the same recording of the fifth night me and Nightglow started working. And that was, what? About... a year ago?" she asked.

"Sort of like that." Nightman flinched back on the seat, head whipping to the hallway entrance to see that it was just Nightglow walking back into the office.

"Hey, Nightglow?" NightForget suddenly asked with a grin, peering over the security screen.

"Don't..."

"I'm gonna do it."

"Don't. NightForget. Don't-"

"Welcome to the Night Shift! Get ready to scream for your very life."

Nightman blinks and quietly and almost wheezed, "What?"
