KIM SEOKJIN POV.
I crack my knuckles as I removed my hands away from my laptop right after finishing another chapter, "ha...writing is fun" I mumbled along with a small smile, I glance at the drawer beside me, I opened the drawer and saw a brown envelop that contained the divorce papers that I gave to him last year in which he didn't even sign, I already had my signature signed on it.
"when are you planning to let me go..."
"1 year already! divorce me now Taehyung"
I exclaimed giving him the papers, Taehyung stared at it with a blank look, everytime he looks at the papers, he gives off an expression that could kill. He then turn his attention back to his work leaving me dumbfounded, "No" He said firmly, I gritted my teeth as I slam my hand against his table.
"you said once everything is under your control! you'd let me go!"
"and you will have that freedom once I am sure of it!!"
Taehyung yelled back causing me to stutter, I clench my fist together.
"your a complicated person...I can never fully understand you...
I said filled with disappointment and immediately left his room with only regret.
PRESENT
He already embarrassed his dad, he now owns 3 banks and 4 companies, isn't it enough for him to let me go now? wasn't that only my sole purpose in this kind of fake relationship with him. I took a deep breath before putting it back to my drawer, Taehyung's at the other side of the room right now and from what happened earlier on how he said I looked pretty well I can't deny that but anyway I'll take this chance to leave quietly because I don't want another ruckus coming from him.I changed my clothes to plain ones, a plain white t-shirt and rip jeans, "and don't forget the hat and a mask" I mumbled as I grabbed one from my cabinet, I then immediately left my room making sure I closed the door quietly. Once I had closed it without getting noticed, I headed downstairs somewhat feeling like a runaway bride.
"I'll be back later..."
TIME SKIP
"hmm...it's been a long time since I went outside on my own" I said as my voice was filled with joy, today's weather was the best for a walk and the weren't any people during Monday since it is work day after all but to Taehyung, he likes to do a lot of work at home stuff which kind of annoys me, I went inside a cafe and ordered myself a milk tea.
As I waited for my drink, I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned around to see the cashier lady whose face was flushed, "yes?" I said as I smiled at her, she flinch as she hid her face under her clothes.
"u-u-um...can I please have your number?"
The cashier lady said, I was taken aback but all I could do was laugh nervously before showing her the pure gold ring, "sorry, I'm married" I said while rubbing the back of my neck, the cashier lady gasp before apologizing to me, this wasn't the first time this happened. Even back in my days to where I had nothing I usually get a lot of love confessions from my school before and I was afraid to get in to a relationship because I was afraid I couldn't provide the things my lover would have wanted but instead I was given the things I wanted just from a marriage contract.
"urgh...remembering those days still gives me the creeps...."
I thought as I left the cafe feeling fresh as ever, that's when I felt someone watching me from afar, I turn around to check my surroundings to see no one, "that's weird..." I mumbled, I lower my hat and pulled up my mask so no one could recognize me, I guess going outside is a bad idea after all.
"let's just go home...Taehyung might have already noticed that I'm gone..."
When I was about to cross the road, a familiar voice called out my name, I sigh heavily knowing who that voice belongs to, I turned around to see Jia glaring at me as she was gripping her sling bag tightly.
"let's talk..."
