I grabbed my coat as I closed my locker getting ready to go outside to the parking lot, but when I was about to cross the street someone called my name. "Hey Collins" I turned around to see that it was Niall. "Niall, hey what's up?" "I was wondering if you wanted to go for a walk and just talk because it seems like you haven't really made any friends here." "it's that obvious" I asked with a slight laugh "haha yeah, but do you?" "Yeah sure". We started walking and he told me all about how he loves football and that his parents divorced when he was younger and that he loves playing guitar. It was really cool learning about him and he was actually really funny which I liked because it feels like I haven't laughed in ages. "so what about you? I've been talking about myself this whole time, now you tell me about you." Niall said as we came to a bench and sat down. "Well, I've never really had a place to call home because I've always been moving to different cities and countries because of my dads job, Ireland actually makes it home number 36." "Wow, what does your mom do? Do you have any siblings?" "I had a brother his name was Marcus but he died at the age of two because he suffered from a brain tumor and my mom she got in a car accident when I was four but ended up in a coma but never woke up so they pulled the plug. Ever since then it's just been my dad and I. I've been bullied at every school I've been to because I'm known as the outsider or the lonely girl that no one talks to but I've gotten used to it." "I had no idea, if the people at school would've known your story maybe they wouldn't say all those horrible things." "Yeah except I've never told anyone my story, except you so you can't tell anyone" "I promise, your secret is safe with me" After that we started heading back.
