"Mom! You dont understand!"

I pick up the magazine and shove it in her face. "I want to look like her!"

I scream and grab my hair. Suddenly my hair falls out in my hands. I shove the hair in my moms mouth as shes speaking.

I wake up crying and yelling for my mom. "Mom, Mom!!" I yell louder and louder. She suddenly appears in her wheelchair and looks frightened. "Honey! What are you screaming about?" A wave if relief washes over me. "I had a.. a bad dream." She looks at me funny "Sweety, we all have dreams" "Not what I meant Mom, but whatever" I roll back over and look at my clock. *5:56* Course, just my luck. 4 minutes till my alarm goes off. I might as well get up now. I turn off my alarm and get up. I walk across the cold floor all they way to my closet. I open it and pick out today's outfit. Black skirt with ripped tights and a white shirt with lace as sleeves. I do my makeup, light and black. I quickly look at myself in the mirror and then walk downstairs. Course my dads home and watching me from his brown recliner.
"Slylar! Gut yor dad another drinker wills ya?" My dad says drunk. I walk over to the fridge and pull out 1 of 65 beers. Then I hand it to my dad, "Tanks Baby!" "I'm not your baby" I mumble under my breath. "What the hell did you just say?!" "Nothing dad, God!" My dad throws a beer bottle at me and it hits my arm and then crashes to the floor. I winch in pain and turn around and yell, "Bye mom!" I run out the front door and grab my arm, I look down and saw it was bleeding. "God dammit dad!" I run towards school. I live only a mile away, anyway as I run I hope I don't run into "Them"
