Just another day in Mahikacia

It's been some time after the whole magic thing, blah blah blah, anyway, I was at home sleeping on the couch

"Sunrise! I got something to show you!" Cassandra called from a portal

"Really? Now?" I said turning around

"Yes now," she said, tipping her mage hat slightly up to see better "it's something with the Fordens!"

"The Fordens?" I asked, Incase you were wondering, Fordens are a short term for Forest Warden, they protect the forests of the Philippines, making use of their Plant Mahika to heal the plant life around them, if Cassy wanted to show me something about them, I couldn't miss that out

"I'm in" I said, walking into the portal, slowly, a bright light flashed in my eyes, next thing I knew, I was in a garden, not any ordinary garden, it had Crystal flowers, color changing leafs, and the birds were singing melodies only heard in fairy tales

I was back in this realm, back in-

"C'mon! This latest discovery can't wait forever!" Cassy said pulling my arm through the gardens.

If you were wondering, they are called the Garden Entrance, the gateway between this realm and the real world, crazy huh?

"C'mon! Hurry!" She said, still pulling me, Cassandra has been a wizard-in-training with me since I became chosen, she keeps shipping me with my primarina and it's annoying, and I also help her with her big crush

"We're here!" She squealed "look look look! There! Right there!"

I looked at the direction she pointed at, sure enough, there was Aldro, my Mahika mentor, he was carefully shaving the moss off of a Forden, it was 8ft and 20 inches tall, with wooden Antlers and flowers and moss growing on it's body

"Why hello there Cassandra, I see you brought the Alpha" Aldro said climbing of the ladder

"Please stop calling me an Alpha" I groaned, I was the leader of my team, or Alpha of my pack, as he would say, my team consists of me, my brother, my little brother, My cousin, Pea-jay and the entire plant gang, and Cassy, we've been protecting the Philippines from a Dark Mahika wizard called Dr. BlackLight, which I think is a terrible name

"C'mon Master Magician Show him!" Cassy said excitedly

Aldro laughed "for someone your size, you sure are full of energy" he said leading us into a forest clearing "this way, I found him this morning"

"Him?" I asked avoiding the Sprinkle berries, those things sprinkle magical glittler everywhere, no joke, "who's him?"

"You'll find out soon enough" Aldro said, moving away the vines

There sat a Forden, it's arms folded around something humming softly in it's deep voice "what's it doing?" I asked

The Forden unfolded it's arms and I was amazed by what I saw, it was a smaller Forden

"It's a baby" Aldro whispered to us "it's very sensitive to loud noises at birth, this one just came out this morning"

"So Cute!" Cassy said mesmerized by the little Forden walking around, I could tell she was dying from cuteness

"Because of their sensitivity to loud noises, it is very rare to witness the birth of one because?"

"They often give birth deep in forests where humans won't find them" Cassy said proudly "I memorized the Lesson on Mahikacia's creatures"

I wasn't listening, I was too busy looking at the baby Forden walk around making squeals and squeaks

"He's so small" I said

"But he will grow up won't he?" Cassy asked

"Of course he will" Aldro said "and when he does, me will go to the Forests of the Philippines and protect them,that's their job as Forest Wardens after all"

I nodded in agreement to my mentor's teaching "

"Now, come along, Today's lesson is about making healing potions from a Forden's Moss" Aldro said, walking away, Cassy followed shortly after

"Hey Sunrise, you coming?" Cassy tapped me lightly on the shoulder, I was so busy looking at the Fordens I forgot where I was

"Yeah sure, let's go make that healing potion, I don't think the Burn from last battle is getting better, I might need it"

"Of course it will cure that burn" Aldro said "now come along, let's go back to the Village"

I smiled as I walked along with Aldro and Cassy, I could still remember the first time I came here, I liked this realm
