His act of desire to take revenge; retributive punishment.
Rodolpus Lestrange was one of many things: (1) the serious type, and (2) he was also considered to be sadistic and a pure-blood supremacist at such a young age.
By the time Rodolpus and his brother attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, in the 1970s, he and his peers practically made everyone cower in fear in every way possible, and according to Andromeda Black, he and his brother were the definition of evil. He was tall, and thin with very dark hair. He had looks that could kill no doubt. Yet, he looks as if he could never truly harm someone but, if you ever cross him he can consider sending you into hysterics with just a expressionless stare, that could turn you to stone. He has a group of friends, that include many future members of the inner circle like; Bella Black, Lucius Malfoy, Severus Snape, Peter Pettigrew. There was something unusual about him, he barely ever smiled, he never talked much and, unlike his brother, he was extremely serious and was so devoted to achieve his place in the inner circle, he was a true pure-blood.
Rodolpus is a skilled wizard, nobody ever messed with him once he mastered the ability to produce the Cruciatus Curse to devastating effects, he used that to his advantage for his own amusement.
First year: He managed to torture Frank Longbottom simply because Rodolpus wanted to see how long he could stay conscious before his body spasms out. With the boys twitching form dropping to the rug, his eyes full of terror staring back at him, Rodolpus said sadistically, "I'm not impressed, Longbottom."
His sick love for torture nearly got him expelled from Hogwarts and led him straight to Azkaban and nearly given the kiss. Of course, due to his age, Rodolpus was sent back to school scot free from his crimes. When Rodolpus discovers a love interest, Bellatrix Black, he is immediately drawn to her sadistic ways, and Rodolpus craves her like a drug. Rodolpus is attracted to power like a drug, and Bellatrix is the nicotine that he's been craving. If they marry, his addiction increases. If they don't, then Rodolpus will die.
But, once the battle of the second Wizarding War ends. Will Rodolpus accept his beloved wife's fate?
