Deku's POV:

At first I saw and thought nothing.....but then I could see small flashes of light and movement as I finally, opened my eyes. The first thing I notice is an angry looking blonde boy staring at me with a worried looking expression on his face. Then all of sudden memories came flooding back and for a second I'm guilty that I forgot all about my child hood best friend. I want to talk to him but I'm still dazed as I begin to remember more things. Meeting Allmight, getting accepted into UA, the sports festival, kachan being distant, all the memories with all of my classmates, being taken and finally, the last week staying at Kachan's place . "Deku," I hear Kachan say, and I get the impression that this isn't the first time he's called out to me. He goes to get up, probably to get a nurse, but I grab his hand effectively stopping him. He looks at me with confusion, although many more emotions swim behind that surface expression. I stare at him stunned, a million things run through my head and I can't figure out what to say. Kachan breaks the silence first, "is that Really you Deku" he says tears welling up in his eyes. I'm so emotional I can't speak but I manage to nod my head. Kachan falls to his his knees, the previously unshed tears now flowing freely down his face. I bring a hand to cover my face as I cry too. "I thought I'd never get to speak to you again" Kachan says, in that deep husky voice of his. It sends chills down my spine but effectively pauses my crying. I go to speak but Kachan continues on speaking first. "I'm sorry for all the things I've done to you, I was a fool and you didn't deserve any of it." He pauses to catch his breath and I go to speak but he cuts me off and I let him continue. I can tell he has been waiting a long time to get this off his chest. "I don't expect you to ever forgive me, but I just wanted you to know that if I could do anything over, I would go back and choose to stay your friend." I fight to keep my emotions in check and finally speak,  "I've been waiting for you to say that for too long now Kachan." For a few second we do nothing but stare at each other. I know our friendship won't be fixed just like that, but I'm hopeful we can work toward it. Suddenly Kachan grabs the collar of my shirt, or should I say gown, and pulls me closer to him staring into my eyes. At first I think I may have angered him but then he does something very unexpected, He kisses me.
