when he forgets your anniversary

              it was an early thursday morning in the month of may. you slowly opened your eyes and saw the sun shining bright. you looked to your side and didn't see your husband. (eren jeager)

"he must've gone to work early." you thought to yourself

              you got out of bed and got ready. you made yourself some breakfast before heading to the store. you bought some gifts and a card to give to eren; as it was your 3 year anniversary with him. 

            {TIMESKIP}

    y/n's pov

i was making a fancy dinner for me and eren when all of a sudden i heard the door open. i smiled as i turned my head and saw eren come in. "hello my love!" i ran to give him a hug. he chuckled softly "hey y/n."

"you're looking all fancy, is this for me?" he said with a smirk. i giggled and said, "well, it is a special day." 

he looked at me confused. "special day?" 

i nodded my head. "he didn't forget....did he?" i thought to myself.

he still looked confused. 

i frowned. "you didn't forget did you?" i asked him.

"well, it's not your birthday, or my birthday." he said with a giggle

i frowned even more. "are you serious? you really don't remember what today is?"

"well it's thursday i know that." he said with a chuckle. he noticed i wasn't laughing or smiling. 

he gave me a hug and said, "im sorry i dont know what the special day is-" i pushed him away and ran upstairs with tears in my eyes.

      eren's pov

y/n had ran upstairs. i was confused as to why, and i was going to chase after her until i saw a card in the corner of my eye. i opened it and it read..

         dear eren,

happy 3 year anniversary! these past years have been the best years of my life and i can't wait to continue making more memories with you. i remember in highschool when you first looked at me, with those beautiful turquoise eyes. you were the popular kid and i was the nerd. i remember the excitement i felt when you asked me to be your girlfriend. ohh the memories. i hope in the future we can have a family of our own. i love you so much! <3

i closed the card and realized tears were coming out of my eyes. "how could i forget out anniversary?" i thought. 

i ran upstairs to our bedroom and heard sobs coming from the other end. "y/n? can you open the door so we can talk? im so sorry."  "go away!" she yelled. my heart ached as i heard the sobs and crying getting louder. i sighed as i opened the door with a spare key. 

she was under the sheets crying. she sat up and stared at me with a frown on her face as tears were streaming down. her mascra and dress were now ruined. i was so disappointed in myself.

y/n's pov

i was about to say something when eren cut me off with a hug. he nuzzled his head into my neck. i hugged him back and wiped my tears. 

"i'm so sorry my love. how can i make it up?" he said with tears in his eyes.

i thought for a moment before saying, "we can eat the dinner i made, and cuddle?" i said with a slight smile. he smiled back at me before grabbing my hand and leading me downstairs. 

{TIMESKIP}

we had eaten dinner and were now cuddling. 

"i know a better way to make up for today." eren said smirking at me before sucking on my neck. i smiled and thought about the things eren was gonna do to me. "i guess today wouldn't be so bad after all." i thought to myself.
