I already described the basic of 'Colour'. Now, I will talk about warm and cool. At first look at these to pictures-

What do you see in these pictures? Obviously Not "a girl in desert"......LMFAO. You can see a girl in snow, right?

As you can see, both pictures are same. But, why does the second picture looks better than the first one? Yes, because of temperature.

I've increased the warmth in the first picture. That's why it kinda looks awkward. In the second picture, I've discreased the temperature. So it looks pretty good.

You can see, a cat is warming itself in front of the fireplace. That makes you feel warm~

In the first picture, I've discreased the temperature which makes the picture fade and dull, since the picture is about something warm.

In the second picture, I've increased the temperature. This, it looks more warm and cozy. The fire looks it got it's spirit. Makes the picture alive.

This how the temperature can make a picture look more alive or dead af. And obviously there is the hand of 'Colours' behind all this.
Let's take a simple white background.

ow I'll increase the temperature. So what I get is-

It looks something like....Yellowish, right?

Now let me discrease the temperature and we will get this-

It looks like light blue, which makes it look cool.

For these reasons, the colour wheel is divided into two parts.

I've explained why colour-temperature is important for a graphic. If you don't use the perfect colour in perfect place it may ruin your whole work.
