"bakageyamaaa!" a high-pitched voice reverberated throughout the gym. the team turned to look at hinata.

"what is it, dumbass?"

"i have tickets to the movies, it's a special screening that yachi told me about! wanna come?"

the building returned to it's original pace and volume. the gym was the karasuno boys' volleyball club's second home. the screech of rubber soles against the worn-out vinyl floors, the thump of the volleyball slamming onto the other side of the net and the occasional yelling and cheering was something that they all had gotten used to. in fact, it was something that greatly comforted everyone. kageyama paused for a bit and cocked his head in a way that would hide the blood rushing to his face.

"take someone else." kageyama grunted.

"wahh- kageyama! idiot! i asked you! not someone else!"

"... fine."

hinata grinned his infectious smile, the smile that made kageyama feel fuzzy inside. hinata was a dumbass, but one kageyama had grown to be quite fond of... everything, from his positive yet determined personality, the lone fact that he puts up with kageyama, his loud, fiery hair that's surprisingly soft to the touch, and his warm, brown gaze was attractive to him.

"sorry, this screening is for couples only." the female, presumably in her late twenties, stated apologetically.

"kageyama, let's g-"

"yeah, we're a couple, i guess." kageyama said, his eyes sternly glaring at the woman. his eyes resemble a storm, clashing with the high tide of an ocean, waves crashing onto a rocky cliff of sandstone – yet his eyes aren't always like that. hinata stares into them a lot. he notices the few times the tides have calmed, when the sky is clear. his mysterious yet lustrous look always wanted more. as a light blush creeped onto his tanned complexion, kageyama stared at the floor, the corner of his lips tugging downwards.

kageyama traced his elegant, thin fingers up hinata's jawline, tipping his head up to look at him. kageyama's other hand had simultaneously moved to his thigh, making hinata's face burn up even more than it already was. their lips eventually met, initiating a kiss that, hinata will admit, should've been longer, yet it felt like it lasted a century. kageyama pulled back, and to hinata's surprise, he was smiling, not the type that scares people.

"we're a couple, i guess."
