( A/N: Sorry if this is bad, excuse the grammar and spelling mistakes. While most writers here are in college or uni I'm still at secondary school. Sorry first chapter is going to be really short. I apologise a lot but then I'm British. After today I'll only update every Tuesdays and Fridays. Thank you for picking up this fanfic promise it will improve. Yes my username is stupid but I can't be asked to change it. :) )

It was two weeks since she would start her fifth year, well it was more Draco's fifth year as the young girl was currently home-schooled. It had also been four weeks since she found out who her real parents are and what her real identity is.

Four weeks, and she still couldn't get her head around it. Also she couldn't talk to anyone because of it, she was afraid that even if she did tell someone anybody within the household could overhear.

She was just typically unlucky, but then she was born on Friday 13th in October, which she didn't know about for half of her life. Now she finally understood why everyone at the orphanage she stayed at for 10 years called her unlucky.

Except one.

Her best and only friend who she never got to speak to again because the family who took her in said she is "dirty and unpure" and never allowed the poor girl to even say goodbye.

Things had changed over the six years living at the manor and she now understood why she was not allowed to see Ebony all those years ago.

Blinking her eyes open, slowly waking up and stretching she looked up at the clock in her room to see it was nine in the morning. Falling back onto the bed she sighed and close her eyes, sleeping for another two hours would be fine, right?

"Esme. My parents would like to talk to you. I know you're awake." She heard the young Malfoy's voice on the other side of the door. He couldn't make her go though. "They say it's important."

Apparently she assumed wrong, Draco Malfoy was not as dumb as she thought.
"Ugh. Tell them I'll be down in ten minutes." She said pulling off her duvet cover and swinging her legs over one side of the bed, she stood up and walked over to her walk - in - wardrobe picking out an oversized dark green sweater, black skinny jeans and some underwear before walking into her en suite bathroom and taking a shower.

Finally ready and presentable she pulled on some white boots and headed down stairs.
