very much an angsty story 

          It was a Saturday afternoon and Hinata was just getting ready to get on the plane for Brazil. The orange haired boy looked at Kageyama and smiled brightly. Kageyama smiled slightly and blushed a bit but frowned shortly after when he was reminded that his ace was leaving him. At least, that's what Kageyama thought.
                    "Don't be sad Kageyama! I'll be back! We can facetime and all that good stuff. Of course when I have the time." The human tangerine said. "So don't worry! You'll always be my favorite person." he smiled still.
                      "So, we'll be taking a break while you're in Brazil?" Kageyama asked. 
                    "Yeah...It's for the best. It's not like we're breaking up so don't be sad...Tobio" Hinata smiled. Kageyama smiled a bit after hearing Hinata say his first name.
                      "Just don't give up on me okay?" Kageyama said 
                   "Right back at you," Hinata said and hugged kageyama. "I won't forget about you Tobio. So don't forget me alright?" asked Hinata, his voice softened. He didn't like the idea of him and Kageyama taking a break but they both knew that they wouldn't be able to do long distance. It would be too much for them.
                    "Flight to Brazil leaving in two hours" Kageyama heard this and was taken back into reality. Hinata was not his. That was just Kageyama's pure imagination. Hinata and Kageyama had only been friends but Kageyama, he has always wanted to be more. All Kageyama did was watch Hinata leave to board the plane. But something did stick to Kageyama. 'You will always be my favorite setter" Kageyama smiled at that simple memory and walked out of the airport. 'I'll wait for you...so wait for me...Shoyo' Kageyama thought as he walked to his car.

           Once Kageyama got to his house, he sighed. He wondered how long it would take for Hinata to come back. Yeah, he knew he was going for two years but for him, two years seemed like twenty. But all he could do was wait for his little sunshine to come back and hopefully, Hinata could be his. All he had to do was wait.

          Over the years, Hinata and Kageyama have been keeping in touch. Everything Hinata said made Kageyama smile and remember the high school days. He remembered the words Hinata had said to him in high school. "As long as I'm here, you're invincible." He remembered the moment very well. Kageyama was the first to say it to Hinata but Hinata had the good idea to say it to him. Many good things happened when they were in Karasuno and he was glad he went to Karasuno instead of schools like Aoba Johsai or Shiratorizawa. Kageyama was happy to be in Karasuno because if he didn't, he wouldn't be the volleyball player he is today. He just wished that he told Hinata about how he felt about him. He'll just have to wait two years for his sunshine to come back to him. That is if Hinata does come back to him...

          Finally, two years had passed and Kageyama and Hinata had lost touch. It was like Hinata had suddenly vanished. Maybe he got a new phone? Maybe he's just busy. That's what Kageyama told himself because he wouldn't dare let his mind tell him that Hinata had forgotten him. So Hinata stopped talking to Kageyama. Kageyama wouldn't take it to heart but on the day Hinata gets ready to leave, Kageyama receives a call from Hinata.
                     "Hey Kageyama!" Hinata said into the phone. You could just tell that Hinata was smiling
                    "Hey" was all Kageyama said.
                    "I just got off the plane! I'm back in Japan! We should meet up!" exclaimed Hinata.
                    "Sure. I'm fine with that. Where should we go?" asked Kageyama and was already thinking of places to go. 
                     "Hmmm" Hinata said and was thinking of a place to go. There were many places to go to like visiting Miyagi or even their old high school. They could even go see Ukai again.
                    "How about I just go to your house?" Hinata asked
                     "Yeah we could do that then" Kageyama said. "Do you have someone to take you to my place?" asked Kageyama.
                    "Yeah I do!" Hinata said.
                     "Alright. Call me when you're close. You do remember where my house is right?" He asked
                    "Yeahhhhhhhhhhh no. I don't" Hinata said and kageyama scoffed
                     "Boke" He said and chuckled after.
                      "Hey! It's been two years! Cut me some slack Kageyama!" Hinata said.
                    "Yeah yeah. Anyways, I'll send you my address. See you soon." Kageyama said
                    "Yeah! See you soon! Bye!" Hinata said before hanging up. Hinata was getting his things by now and walked out to find his ride. 'Hey where are you?' Hinata texted to the one who was picking him up. Hinata stared at his phone as he waited to get a reply. He then sighed and turned his phone off and once he did he got a notification. Hinata looked and read 'I'm here.' Hinata then looked up to see the familiar face and walked to the car that had stopped in front of him. The guy got out of the car and went over to hinata.
