Enemies: Senior Year

Draco- Third Person POV

Draco is finally in his senior year at Hogwarts high and he couldn't be happier. He plans to make his parents proud of him, get good grades and find a good job. Nothing will ruin this year he thinks to himself as he walks to his class not even Potter.
"Hey Dray!" Yells Pansy as she runs to catch up with Draco. Draco turns around and glares at her. "Yes Pans? I'm going to be late for class."
"You definitely want to hear this Dray," Pansy replies out of breath. "They are changing our dorm rooms."
Draco looks at her surprised and doesn't say anything for a minute. "What do you mean they are changing our dorm rooms?"
"Dumbledore said we should all 'make new friends' and 'expand our worlds,'" Pansy says while rolling her eyes. "The new list was posted earlier.. and I think you should see who your new roommate is."
"Seriously? I was supposed to room with Blaise again! And I don't have time to look so just tell me Pans," Draco says impatiently.
"Umwellyouareroomingwithpotter," Pansy says really fast.
Draco looks confused at her until he understands what she said. Potter?? Why would Dumbledore put me with him! This is supposed to be my best year He thinks annoyed. Draco says he hates Harry but deep down he loves him. He loves the way his green eyes sparkle when he smiles and how his smile seem to brighten a whole room. He loves how his laugh is contagious and makes other people happy. He loves how he is nice to everyone.. to everyone except for him. He wasn't nice either and he probably started it but he didn't care. He loves everything about Harry.
"I'm sharing a room with Potter??" Draco exclaims. Pansy nods and takes a small step back. "That's right you are sharing with Potter. Dumbledore already moved everyone's things to their new rooms."
"Pans if this is a joke it's not funny."
Pansy sighs and shakes her head, "I wouldn't joke about that Dray I'm being serious."
Draco turns around without answering and starts walking to his class again. Pansy knows he won't listen to her now so she just walks away. He couldn't believe he would have to share with Potter. He would just look for himself after class, Pansy must have made a mistake.

After class Draco immediately goes to the office. Outside of the office there is a list of all the dorm rooms in the school and who's in all of them. As he goes through the list he sees Pansy is now sharing with Hermione. I'm surprised Pansy didn't complain about being with Granger at all. Next he sees that Blaise gets to room with Crabbe and Goyle. Lucky Draco thinks. Finally he sees his name: Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter- Room 36. He couldn't believe Pansy was right about it. Now he would have to share a room with Harry for the whole year. Frustrated and upset Draco walks to his new room. Once he gets there and walks in he sees it is empty other then the furniture. He sighs in relief and walks over to the bed with his stuff on it. As he sits down he decides to look around. In room 36 there are two beds, each on opposite sides of the room. Next to each bed was a small table that they could put things on. In the middle of the back wall there was a door which Draco assumed led to their new bathroom. Each side of the room also has a dresser for their clothes and a bookshelf. Draco was happy they would each have their own things and would still have space away from each other. After a minute of looking around he decides to put all his things away... he knew no matter what he did he would have to stay in this room. He puts all his clothes into the dresser, puts one book on the table next to the bed and then puts the rest onto his bookshelf. He makes sure to unpack all his things and puts a picture of him and his parents onto his table. As he sits down on his bed he looks at the picture and smiles. I'm going to miss you mum and dad. I will still do my best this year and make you proud even if I have to stay with Potter. Just as Draco thinks this Harry walks in.
