Cold. I felt cold. I looked down at my body, my short red dress was nowhere to be found, instead I was wearing sweats and a baggy tee shirt. I pulled the covers that were bunched up next to me over my body. There was no one in the bedroom but from my foggy memory I could assume I was at James's place. The window in the corner of the room was dark showing no sign of morning. Groaning I still felt a little drunk.
I could hear loud laughter coming from the other side of the door. I decided to get up, maybe someone could take me home. Bad idea. I lost my balance and felt dizzy.
I stood behind the door and put my ear up to it, hoping I could get an idea of who was out there. All I heard was yelling followed by laughing. From what they were saying it sounded like they were having a water gun fight?
My curiosity got the best of me and I decided to open the door and make my way to the voices.
Sure enough there were two males having a water gun fight in front of me. They looked very similar from the back. The guy in front of me ducked and I got covered in water. He turned around and started laughing but covered his mouth to drown out the sound. Yup they were twins.
"Oh fuck." The guy who shot the water gun cursed.
"James your girl Is awake!" The other male called out.
James walked around the corner "Really you guys? God you idiots are so annoying. She's already had to change once"He walked over to me and brought me back to the bedroom. I watched from the bed as he sorted through the messy drawers.
"Is this your room?" I asked. The walls were painted white. It made me feel like I was trapped in a jail. I wish there were more posters, it would feel more homey.
He looked around as if he had to double check
"Yup, home away from home"
"I still feel drunk."
He laughed. "You are still drunk"
"Shiiieeeeet" I collapsed backwards on the bed and sighed.
He tossed a shirt onto my face and I began to change, unable to care if he was watching or not.
I heard footsteps walking away from me, I could tell he was going to leave.
"Wait!" I didn't want to stay alone but I also didn't want to lead James on, I didn't exactly like him like that.
The footsteps paused.
"You should just stay in here." I suggested
He walked over next to me. "You're not the only drunk one."
"Exactly, so just stay here." I pulled on his arm and it didn't take much force for him to get in the bed next to me.
We cuddled together and fell asleep like that.
