"It's okay, Brian! It's going to be okay! I promise!" Tim weakly smiled with tears in his eyes as he held Brian's bleeding stomach. Since it had been raining, there were puddles of water everywhere. Both of their masks were beside them, taken off a few minutes prior so Tim could make sure he could hear Brian. The puddles under Brian mixed with the blood he was leaving behind. Brian was holding onto Tim's arm, trying to reassure him.
"Tim, I'll be alright, just leave it.." Brian managed to squeak out, he was running out of energy and it was hard for him to keep his eyes open. Brian quickly pulled Tim's head closer to his and mumbled something. Tim couldn't hear it so he had a bit of a confused face for a second, but snapped back into reality.
"I'm going to get you to a hospital soon Brian, don't worry!" Tim continued to hold pressure on Brian's wound.
"Tim...I-" then it ended. It ended then and there and that was it. It was over.—Masky/Tim's POV—
I was crying. Goddamn it I was crying. Brian was bleeding and I was crying. That's all I could remember, I was trying to hold pressure on his wound but it just wouldn't stop. I hated it, and I still do. Right before he was about to tell me something, it always ended. It was a stupid reoccurring nightmare and I fucking hated it. Whenever I woke up from the nightmare, I'd be in Brian's arms..crying, he'd always be trying to comfort me in some way or another, I never told him what the nightmare was about though, it would've been too embarrassing.
I sighed as I looked at the time, it was noon. I soon got up and went outside, spotting Brian sitting on the porch. I smirked behind my mask as I sat beside him. He gave me a slight nod for a hello as I lit a cigarette. I sighed once again as I began to smoke, "Slender gave us another mission...he told me to tell you.." Brian soon faced my direction. "What's this one entail then..?" I soon asked, "When do we leave?" I added. "Another forest patrol, and at one o'clock..." I nodded in response to his answer.
—Hoodie/Brian's POV—
I put my arm around Tim's shoulder in a friendly manner, "You haven't slept in over a few days, you should take a quick nap before we go.." He slowly shook his head, I sighed, "Please..?" I add, making him rethink his answer I hoped. He slowly got up, and stared down at me, "Fine.." he finally spoke and headed back inside. I looked at the now cloudy sky, it looked as if it was about to rain.
It had been about forty minutes and I was still sitting on the porch, Tim soon came back outside, he looked like he has just woken up, which comforted me, knowing that he had finally slept. But something was..different about the way he was acting. He was slouched over more than usual and he had a worried presence. I could tell that he hadn't had any nightmares that time, he wasn't panicked, but something was off about him, so it made me concerned. "Let's go. It's better to just start early." He started walking deeper into the forest, he seemed aggravated, yet worried still. I got up and quickly followed him, then looked at the time, it was 12:51. By now, it was pouring rain.
—3rd person—
After about an hour of walking in what seemed like circles, Brian and Tim walked up to a familiar building, an old abandoned cabin they usually hung out at. "Let's wait out the storm..." Tim said opening the cabin door. The two males walked into the cabin and took their soaked jackets off, then their masks. Tim sat in a seat, still hunched over as Brian sat on the bed that was there. The two talked for awhile about random things, until they both got up to check how bad it was still raining. Brian was at the door as Tim was picking up their jackets from the bed. Once Brian had opened the door, there was loud roar of thunder as it rained harder. Brian quickly shut the door then turned back around to go sit back in his previous spot. Until he tripped. He tripped and fell on Tim, pushing him onto the bed in the process. Brian had stuck his harms out to catch himself but after they had landed, his arms were positioned on both sides of Tim, their unmasked faces centimeters apart. Tim's face flushed red, the person he had fallen in love with was pinning him onto a bed, whether it was accidental or not. Neither of them moved or spoke, they didn't know what to do. Brian was about to move but he felt something hard rub against his leg. Brian leaned down and did something that Tim would never expect. Brian slowly pressed his lips against Tim's.
