I decide to stay. If everyone's drunk then I can't risk going home with one and getting in a crash... I turn to find Sam and let her know my decision. While I'm walking, everything was spinning. I could tell I was drunk but I didn't know how drunk... while I'm walking, I spot George instead. He seemed to have sobered up so I walked over to him and held myself up by leaning on him.

Y/n: "Georgyyy I missed you~"
George: "Y/n? How much have you have?"
Y/n: "I don't knowwww.."

(+1 George)
He shakes his head and as he does, everything goes blank... I don't remember anything. I wake up the next morning with all George, Clay and Nick, not next to me or close to me but in the room. I sit up and rub my head, thinking to myself... What happened last night? I decide to ask the boys when they wake up rather than waking them up to ask a question. As I'm fixing my makeup in the ensuite, I hear a knock at the door. I stare at it. This will probably look bad...

Y/n: "Yeah?"
???: "Hey. Just water and painkillers to help your hangover. I'm handing them out to everyone today since they're all probably dead..
Y/n: "Thanks! I really appreciate it..."
???: What's your name?
Y/n: "I'm Y/n... What's yours?"
???: "I'm Dave but I prefer Technoblade or Techno."

(This is a statement made by Techno himself so out of respect for said statement, he's Techno in this story. Please do not call him by his name because he has said he doesn't feel comfortable with it.)

Y/n: "Ohh! I've heard of you. You talk about orphans and farm potatos"
Techno: "I'm so glad you know about allll the orphan stuff..."

He says sarcastically. I giggle and then hear Nick waking up. He looks at us and us at him then goes back to sleep. Techno chuckles and crouches, placing the medicine and water beside him.

Techno: "You know they were very protective over you last night while you were sleeping. They didn't want anything to happen to you."
Y/n: "Really? Why would they do that for me?"
Techno: "In a way, you saved all three of them. One of the girls who was here, Sam, she got into a really bad car accident last night. The driver was drunk and so was everyone else in the car."

I feel my heart sink and my eyes water over.

Y/n: "Sam? Like Sam Jaxon?"
Techno: "Yeah..."
Y/n: "Is she okay?!"
Techno: "From what I've heard on the news there were 5 people in the car, 4 casualties and 1 fighting for life."

I get out of bed and grab my shoes, sliding them on. As I go to leave, Techno grabs my arm and pulls me into a hug. (+1 Techno)
I stand there, baffled and blaming myself. I should have stopped her or made her stay with me... Techno let's go and I wipe my eyes.

Techno: "There's a chance she could be alive. All we can do right now is pray."
Y/n: "Yeah... I guess..."

I wipe my eyes dry.

Nick: "Y/n? Are you crying?"
Y/n: "Oh Nick- You're awake. I'm fine it's nothing..."
Techno: "Oh so your friend is nothing now? Okay..."
Y/n: "No that's not what I meant!"
Nick: "Friend? What happened?"
Techno: "The car Sam was in crashed. There's 4 casualties and one person in critical condition and fighting for life. You guys were meant to go home with the same driver so I'm glad you all stayed instead."
Nick: "What? Are you serious?"
Techno: "Do orphans have parents?"

I hear Nick sigh and then get up to hug me. (+1 Sapnap)
I squeeze him and look back and Clay and George who were still asleep. The effects of the hangover pills have kicked in and I feel so much better, though, my heart feels extremely heavy all throughout the day. Techno, George, Nick and Clay all try to make me feel better by making me food and showing me videos and such but I still feel guilty. I'm a police officer... one of my jobs is protecting! Speaking of protecting.. Should I stay with the boys or go meet Gemma?
