TMNT Wolves

Chapter 1: 'Protective Father'

 A wise wolf padded through the terrain, his ears alert for any alerting sounds. The wise wolf simply named, 'Hamato Yoshi', Yoshi's ears lowered as his tail tucked down between his legs he'd just been fought by Oroku Saki, an evil wolf fueled by rage and hatred. "Why..Why did he have to take my daughter..and wife.." Yoshi grumbled as a single tear glimmered over his eye. Oroku Saki had just slain Yoshi's pride and joy...Tang Shen and his beautiful daughter Miwa. Yoshi felt helpless now, but that would soon change.

Yoshi found a shady spot under a lanky tree, he laid down as his tail curled around his paws. he rested his heavy head on his paws, ears planted up straight up for alerting noises. Yoshi's ears flicked as whining and yelping were heard. Yoshi lifted his head gazing around his parental vision. He got up walking around trying to find the source of the noise, his nose sniffed the air as an aroma filled his nostrils. He peeked his head inside a small cave to see pups squirming a-top each other whimpering and whining.'Poor pups' Yoshi thought as he stepped inside the cave, he slowly padded up to the quivering pups.

The largest pup out of all of them gazed up at Yoshi his ocean blue eyes shimmering. The pup scampered in front of his brothers, trying to protect them. Yoshi stepped back a bit, "I-I mean no harm.." Yoshi said softly. The eldest stopped his snarling and replaced it with whimpering, Yoshi frowned as he nuzzled the young pup. The pup nuzzled back but kept his distance, another pup peered out his legs were a bright orange color, I should mention that the eldest pup had a blue star symbol on his head and his legs were a vibrant blue color. The orange-colored pup scampered up to Yoshi as he nipped his ear playfully. Yoshi chuckled it reminded him of his own daughter.

Two other pups peered out the one with purple legs whimpered and hid behind the eldest, the pup with red belly and red legs plus a lighting bolt on his head stepped forward. The red pup snorted as he would snarl pouncing up snatching Yoshi's ear leaving a small mark. "..I suppose you have no..home..or family.." Yoshi trailed off thinking he was the same way. The blue pup would pounce on the red pup tackling him. Another pup came forward he was taller than the others with purple paws and legs. The purple pup worriedly walked to Yoshi, "it's okay little one.." Yoshi said as he would pull the young one into a hug with his paw. The purple pup trusted the adult wolf now as he cuddled into his fur to seek warmth. 

Yoshi thought maybe...if he could not care for his first family maybe he could try to care for this one...just maybe. Yoshi would grasp the orange cub by his scruff as he nudged the other three to follow him. The blue pup followed gladly, the purple pup was a little weary but followed, the red pup did not he stayed put, No way he trusted this guy! Yoshi glanced back to see the red cub crossing his paws. "Well..come on little tough guy.." Yoshi responded. The red pup blew a raspberry and stomped his paw. Yoshi sighed, but if the red pup did not want to come that was his choice, so Yoshi padded off leaving the red pup behind. 

The red pup realized his brothers went with the older adult, the red cub grumbled as he padded out to follow along. Yoshi turned his head to see the red pup following he smiled softly and continued. Yoshi spotted a rather large and shady den, he pondered on how the pups would feel about living in there, Yoshi thought he'd give it a shot anyway. Yoshi entered the den he released his grasp on the orange pups scruff. The pup fell from his grip and landed on the pavement below. Yoshi licked the pup's head, the pup lifted his tail up as he wagged it rapidly. Yoshi grinned as his ears perched. 

The pups explored the den, Yoshi pondered, he needed to think of names for the pups. "..Leonardo...maybe..and Donnatello, Raphael..and Michalango.." Yoshi said as he pointed to each one with a smirk on his snout. The pups frolicked in play, Michlanago seemed to enjoy Hamato Yoshi. The pup always was around him and wanted to play Mikey or Michlango had a playful attitude! Raphael on the other hand seemed to be a hot-head..and a troublemaker. great. Donnatello seemed to examine or, study the terrain beneath himself and always was barking or whimpering softly. Leonardo seemed to be the mature one and responsible, Yoshi wondered how Leonardo and Raphael got those marks on their furry heads. 

Yoshi gazed at the pups, Leonardo cracked a large yawn causing Michlanago to yawn as well, Donnatello was already fast asleep. Raphael was in the middle of Leonardo and Michelangelo, he was asleep though. Yoshi padded up to the pups as he laid by them they all squirmed by his belly, Yoshi wrapped his tail around the batch of pups as they fell asleep snoring soundly. Yoshi made a soft grin, "...I love you, my sons.." Yoshi said as he licked each of their heads.

Yoshi hazel brown iris's clicked open, he shifted his head a bit so his eye could examine the batch of pups still resting by his side. Yoshi grinned as he fell back asleep but was awaken by Raphael's caterwauling. Yoshi groaned beneath his breath as his ears pinned to the back of his head, Yoshi nuzzled the pup trying to get him to hush up. When the hot-headed pup felt a wet nose touch him, he yelped. "It's okay...shh..clam little one." Yoshi hushed. Raphael's emerald green eyes, that Yoshi had fallen in love with, gazed up at him. Yoshi licked Raphael's head, Raph grinned softly as he shifted his small body returning to dreamland. Yoshi could not help but grin, then a dangerous aroma filled his nose he sensed...The man that took his daughter and wife's life. Yoshi uplifted off the ground making sure to not wake the pups, Yoshi faced the entrance of the den where he spotted the evil man. Yoshi felt his teeth clench as a snarl seeped out of his mouth, the evil man entered the den with an evil laughter. "Give me the pups...so I can...teach them to hunt, kill! You think they can learn anything from you!" The man hissed. Now the pups were awake, Leonardo snarled as he protected his brothers, such as standing afront them. Michelangelo was whimpering as his tail tucked between his legs. Donnatello was helping Mikey calm down because at this point Mikey was panting he was crying so hard. Raphael snorted, as he pounced afront all of them, plus Yoshi... Raph snarled barking at the crazed man. The evil wolf snickered as he snarled biting off the pup's ear. Raphael yelped as thick blood ran down his face, Yoshi would not let this evil wolf take Raphael like he took Miwa. Yoshi snarled as he pounced pinning Saki. Saki growled in fury, as he clawed Yoshi's eye, Yoshi fell onto the ground he groaned in pain. "heh.." Saki laughed as he was about to finish him, "NO! GET AWAY FROM HIM!" Leonardo growled. Saki taken aback by the sudden outburst, "What would you do cub!?" Saki snorted. "AT LEAST I WOULD RISK MY LIFE FOR MY FAMILY!" Raph snorted, blood still trickling down his face. Saki gazed at the pups, "You...heard em...Saki..leave" Yoshi said turning his head to Saki. 

Saki snarled scampering out of the den, Mikey grinned padding up to his father and nuzzling his nose.  Yoshi smiled watching his pups smother him in love, "Raphael is your ear alright?" Yoshi asked gazing at the bloody mess on the side of his face. "I-it hurts a bit but I will be fine.." Raph snorted. Yoshi licked Raphael's bloody mess, Raph winced as he did so. "Raphie, be okay?" Mikey asked hugging Raph. "Yesh" Raph answered. Donnatello grinned as he playfully tackled Leo, "Ack! Ahahah! Don!" Leo giggled feeling Donnie tickled his tickle spot. Yoshi smiled wrapping his tail around the clutch of pups. Donnie hopped off Leo as he cracked a yawn, "mm..night brothers.." Donnie mumbled he was half-asleep y this point. Raph was already asleep snoring softly, Mikey was laying his head on Raph's back sleeping soundly. Leonardo was nuzzling his father, "Night..daddy." Leo smiled curling into a small ball falling asleep.

"I love you, my sons.." Yoshi said kissing their heads...
