Heyo! It's Sunnie! I'm so sorry the last chapter was short. I'll make it up to y'all this chapter!!

3rd person Akaashi POV.

Characters : Akaashi Keiji, Koutarou Bokuto

"Oh? you're here?!" Bokuto coos,

"Yeah..because you invited me." Akaashi replies leaving Bokuto with a puzzled yet guilty face.

"You see...it's a Saturday right, I didn't think about it before, but this morning I woke up on the wrong side of the bed and then it was all *Whoosh* and *Wham* then I hit my head on the floor then looked up at the clo-"

"The gym is locked." Akaashi said, cutting Bokuto off.  Wait, I shouldn't have interrupted- Akaashi this is your upperclassmen that probably came off as rude why did you do that- why would-

"Yes! That's exactly the problem here, you completely read my mind!" Bokuto flashes a very bright smile, almost blinding actually.

Akaashi flinches a bit at this, He isn't mad? I guess he's not like the other people who go about respect by age.

"I thought you wouldn't show up, but I was here just in case," Bokuto says sitting back down on the stairs, "I'm really sorry Aggaaaashi" he smirks at his own joke, causing Akaashi to at least let out a small "heh"

"So what are we going to do now Bokuto-san?" He asks, plopping down on the pavement next to the stairs.

They both just sat there for a minute or two, contemplating if they should just leave or do something together. Bokuto shifts up.

"Well, do you have time?" Akaashi nods, sending Bokuto springing back on his feet, "Alrighty then, keep up with me!" as he sprints off into the school field. Akaashi is again startled as he jumps up and starts running as well.

He's...He's so fast, Akaashi huffs, he was never considered super fast but he has a great stamina. He runs after Bokuto out of the field and up a steep hill. They both made it to the top out of breath.

"Akaashi-" Bokuto catches his breath "Look down- down there in the meadow," Akaashi walks over to to where Bokuto is now sitting and looks over.

It was beautiful.

Akaashi widened his eyes as he saw the small meadow and fields off to the side, of course he's seen a lot of meadows and many rice farms with gardens. But something about this one, and seeing it from above- was absolutely ethereal. Bokuto watches Akaashi keenly, watching every microexpression he was making.

"It's pretty right?" Bokuto says, again flashing a wide smile. "It's so beautiful, sometimes when I come back from practice runs early, I have to wait for everyone else to come back- so I just run up here and look at the flowers." Bokuto sighs, "But hey! You aren't slow at all! No one manages to really keep up with me or even tries to. I appreciate it." he adds.

Akaashi turns his head to Bokuto, his face looked really different from an eye-level above, his eyelashes were grayish and shone in the light. His golden eyes could be seen even more easily, like if they were meant to stand out. Instead of the normal spiky looking hair, it looked even more soft when the sunlight directly hit.

Bokuto catches Akaashi staring.

"Oh- uh, yes Bokuto-san, It looks unreal." Akaashi sits down next to the boy. He looks even closer and notices a path through the woods right past the meadow but what comes after that?
"Bokuto-san, have you ever been down through there?" he points it out, leaving Bokuto with a surprised expression.

"I've actually never noticed that before! It goes right through the meadow!! Can we go? Let's go down there Akaashi~"

I shouldn't have said anything  "Alright- let's go."

Bokuto starts running down the hill and immediately loses balance, he ends up rolling down the ridgid hill, landing in a patch of Shibazakura (pink moss), thankfully the hill was just grass and minor sediment. Akaashi lightly hurries down the hill to see if he was okay.

"Bokuto...san?" He peers over and flips Bokuto over so he's face up towards the blue sky. He opens his eyes violently and lifts his hand, pointing to the sky.

"AGAAAASHI look the sky is so clear today! So sunny!" Bokuto seems to be unphased by the fact that he just fell down an entire hill and is covered in pink flower petals. Akaashi chuckles a bit at this, this guy is so big yet such a child on the inside.  Akaashi notices a couple smudges of dirt and petals on Bokuto's face, he lifts his hand towards the other boy's face, which makes Bokuto flinch backwards.

"Oh- sorry! I shouldn't have..done that-" Akaashi stammers a bit,

"No! no, you can do it, sorry I thought you were going to hi-" Bokuto stops, "nevermind," he takes Akaashi's hand and places it right on his forehead.

Akaashi was a bit confused, Did he say that he thought I was going to hit him? Why would I even do that? Is there something wrong? Am I not friendly enough? Is he okay with me being around him? What if-

"Oi- are you going to just cover my eyes or what? Don't overthink Akaashi." The way Bokuto said this was unusually calm, but it seemed more like his energy was taken away.

Akaashi grazes his hand against his face, brushing off petals and wipes the dirt smudges off his cheekbone. So soft, and warm like his hands... Akaashi realized he was now zoning out again, and staring straight into Bokuto's eyes. Akaashi gets up and tells the other boy to stand up, and brush off the excess dirt and flowers off his clothes.

"aah we wasted so much time on the ground- we still have time to go down the path right AgaAaAashi?" His tone went back to normal which relieved Akaashi to an extent.

What even happened just now...that entire thing felt weird.

"Yes Bokuto-san, we have enough time."

AAAAAAAAAAAH HI GUYS!! THANK YOU FOR READING THIS- I had to do a little research on the flowers so that's why it may not seem so familiar. (The picture above is basically Shibazakura)

I also want to know what you think about this so far? Am I doing okay?? This is my first time so I'm dying to know your thoughts!!

Thank you so much! -Sunnie<3
