T'was the day of Christmas Eve and once again Trina was in a bad mood. "Why don't you guys ever do listen "she said to her mother and father rudely. "Honey its the thought that counts" stated her mother. Every single year since Trina was able to speak and walk she and her parents opened one present every Christmas Eve,but this year it was different. Her dad had just been laid off form his job so the income was cut short. Her mother's half of the income was used to pay the mortgage,so the little amount of money left over she would try and buy nice things for Trina as her father would also try to do .She was so selfish to the point where she didn't care that her dad lost his job she just wanted the gift she asked for."I'm going to bed "she shouted.Little did she know that she was going to have the weirdest dream she'd ever have. She was visited by the ghosst of Christmas past,Christmas present,and Christmas future.By the time she woke up she realized that she should always be grateful for everything she has.
