Hey guys, this is the first chapter of the story! I really hope you like it, alright lets get into it!

I stood outside, the cool air blowing my hair into my face as a single tear fell down my cheek. This is it, I am finally going to Hogwarts. My letter came in the mail yesterday and after picking up the ripped pieces that my cousin, Dudley, ripped apart, I read my name across the front of the envelope and the letter saying Welcome to Hogwarts.

I stared up at the sky and whispered "I'll see you soon Harry."

My brother, Harry is in his second year at Hogwarts and reluctantly decided to stay with the Weasley's this summer. He wrote to me everyday wishing I could be there with him and that he will be home to visit soon. I decided that instead of writing back, I would surprise him at Hogwarts. Hagrid, one of Harry's trusted friends and my parent's friend, arrived at my door no later than Monday.

"Aurora Potter, long time no see." Hagrid says, as he walks in through the front door.

The Dursley's couldn't care less, they were just glad to have the Potter's out of their hair, once and for all. My trunk was already packed with the little items I had and I was off to Hogwarts with Hagrid.

I arrived at Diagon Alley, in shock and disbelief that all of Harry's stories about the Wizarding world were true. I smiled at the sights around me. I looked in all the window shops, amazed, when I saw a black owl with green eyes staring at me from inside a shop. I looked up at Hagrid as he smiles and follows me into the store. I walked up to the owner and asked if the beautiful owl was for sale, and he lit up with a smile and nodded his head.

"He's been here the longest, most people are scared of him." He says, as he walks over towards the owl.

I look at the owl and smile as he turns his head to look at me, then hoots. Hagrid pays for the owl, which I thank him a million times for.

"So, what are you going to name him?" He asks, as I look at the sweet boy in his cage and smile.

"Apollo." I say as the bird looks at me.

We walked throughout the streets of Diagon Alley, when we reached Ollivander's. This was the place Harry told me about in his stories, it's one of my favorite stories because it's about him getting his wand. I walked in the store with Hagrid, as the shop owner, Mr. Ollivander greets me with a smile and says,

"Ah Hagrid, bringing me the other Potter I see." I smiled, looking down at my feet.

I stepped forwards towards the counter, looking at the rows and rows of wands.

"Now, let the wand choose you." He says, as I looked up at the wands. The wands wiggled and shook and one box slowly slid out. "Well look what we have here, this wand is special. The only other of its kind belongs to Bellatrix Lestrange." You and Hagrid gasp, as Ollivander grabs the wand off the shelf. "This wand is made with a dragon heartstring core and is made of  walnut."

I held the wand in my hands, twisting and turning the beautiful wood between my fingers. I smiled, putting the wand in my pocket of my jacket and followed Hagrid out of the store. After grabbing all of my books and supplies, we were off to Hogwarts. I stood at the train station waiting for the Hogwarts express to arrive, I haven't seen Harry in over 7 months. I'm thinking about the last letter I received from Harry and how it was Ginny's birthday last month, and the twins celebrated by lighting fireworks in the house. Molly was not very pleased with this. I was laughing to myself, when I heard the train whistle as it pulled into the station. I smiled as I realized I get to see my brother. Hagrid is standing next to me as we wait for Harry, Hermione, Ron and Ginny to exit the train. Ginny and I are both first years, so it will be nice to have someone my age to call a friend. I see Harry step off the train as he looked up and saw me.

"Aurora, what are you doing here?" He asked, as he runs towards me and wraps me in a hug.

"Hey big brother, long time no see." I say, hugging him back.

"Aurora!" Ron, Hermione and Ginny say running and hugging me as well.

"Hey guys, how are you?" You say, hugging them back.

"You got into Hogwarts?" Harry asks.

I rolled my eyes and said, "Nope, I just snuck into the Wizarding world to see you, yes you idiot I got in!"

I smiled as Harry put his arm over my shoulder with a big grin wiped across his face and we started walking towards Hogwarts. We got a few feet when an apple core hit the back of Harry's head.

"Ow, bloody hell!" Harry says, turning around. "Ah Malfoy, it has been a nice summer without you around." Harry says, as I look up at him, then at the blonde boy with grey eyes.

He's about 5'9, which compared to my 5'4 was pretty tall. He walks up to us, his Slytherin robe blowing in the breeze and his blonde hair tousled and messed up.

"And who is this, Potter? One of your trollops?" The blonde boy spits at Harry, who pulls me tighter to him.

"Malfoy, how dare you call my little sister a trollop, you piece of rubbish." Harry yells back, as Hermione and Ron stand on either side of us.

"Oh, so this is the infamous Aurora Potter." The blonde boy says, a slight shimmer in his eyes. "I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy. I'm a seeker on the quidditch team, the best team, which is Slytherin." He says, as he extends his hand towards me. I go to accept, but Harry pushes his hand away.

"Stay away from her, Malfoy. She's far too good for you." He says as he spins you around and continues towards Hogwarts.

"Whatever, Potter. But, we all know who's the better seeker." Draco says, as Harry rolls his eyes and I laugh.

We reached the school grounds and I stood there in awe looking around at the beautiful architecture and greenery. I smiled, looking at my brother and his friends. These next 8 years are going to be amazing, I thought as I walked in to the dining hall to be sorted into my house.
