"Dreams are easy to see, hard to catch."

Waking up up 5:00 am is something I'd never get used to.
Even though I knew it was our last time, I couldn't shake the awful feeling at the pit of my stomach.
The U- Haul was packed. The GPS was set. It was final. This was it. The final time. I grabbed Anna's hand and squeezed it.
"You ready?" She looked up at me,
"Last time, right?"
"Last time." I agreed.
Our parents were already in the car. And with no surprise, they were fighting. Annabelle and I squeezed into the back of the truck and got ready for the car ride. Thank God Anna was able to fall asleep half way through the ride. I'm pretty shocked she could, with our parents fighting most of the time. It's unbelievable sometimes. How long they can go on. Finally they got quiet and I was able to sleep for the last hour.
I woke up to someone shaking me.
"Soul, you need to get up. We're here babe." My mother's high pitch voice said.
I actually expected to be at the new house. I forgot the the trip was more than 35 hours. We were at a hotel in Iowa, I'm not sure how my parents are planning to divide the next few days. The earliest we could get to North Carolina would be in 2 days. I just prayed that we would make it that far without killing eachother.
Easier said, than done.

"SOUL! Move out of the way you're squishing me!" Annabelle had just started, "Momma! Soul won't stop pushing me."
"I swear to God, I'm going to strangle you." I mumbled under my breath.
"MOMMA! Soul said she wanted me to die!"
"I did not!"
"Soul, what the hell is your problem today! Get yourself together before I do it for you." My Mom was getting pissed.
It was the final day. We had about 3 hours left and I felt like the truck was caving in. I wanted to get out of it so badly, and Anna was no help at all. It's not really helpful when she falls asleep on top of your legs.
Finally we made it. My Dad picked Anna up and we walked inside the new house. It was okay, way bigger compared to the old apartment. Anna and I were going to have to share a room. Nothing we're not used to. Everything was starting to seem like it was coming together. The only thing I was worried about was school.
