Daisy's Pov
The day was finally here. The day I had been dreading for the past 2 months, the day that had caused so arguments between me and my parents. The day I was moving.
Yeah yeah, when people say they are moving it usually means to a different town, in my case we were just upgrading houses. I don't like change what so ever, it's like changing your coffee order, or changing your underwear three times of day. The pair you had worn the most are so much more comfortable than the other two pairs, It's like a part of you.Anyway.. Steering away from that, what I'm trying to say is that I loved our old house, A small pokey little cottage, with it's White, chipped picket fence and the brown carpets that had a few stains and rips in it. The floral curtains that made the room feel so homely.
My bedroom which every inch of the walls were covered in posters. My matchbox sized room made it particularly hard to do any from of art project, but it was home. Not this huge 2 story house that gave off a dominating vibe.
To say I was pissed off to pack up and move to the other side of town was the understatement of the century.
My twin brother Liam on the other hand was pumped to be getting out of the cottage, the minute mum and dad had announced the move he was off and racing to his room, getting all of his belongings organised and ready to be packed away. In all honesty I'm a queen at procrastination and the I left my packing to the night before, but also stuck in the state of mind that if I blocked out it was happening then it wasn't going to happen. Liam made that hard to do considering he was racing around the house at full speed, reminding me at every chance that we we moving away from the safe comfort of home. The removalists that were handling all of our belongs looked shady and they could possibly a) bring out a gun at any second or b) get in their stupid truck and drive off with all of what we own. I was hoping that neither of those ideas would ever come reality.
