The Curse

When I woke up I was in the hospital.

What happened?

"Something happened, and you like blacked out and Abby. God, she uh, she didn't make it." I heard Alex say from the chair beside my bed.

"Your lying. I killed her. You've always been bad at lying Alex. I am sorry. Why are you-" I said, but got cut off by the doctor walking in.

"Lillian, I see you have woken up." The doctor said.

"Yeah I mean I think so." I said, looking around the room.

How long have I been here?

"We just need to run some tests to make sure you're okay, then you can go home." The doctor said, poking a needle into my arm to take blood.

Once he left I sighed. I hate hospitals and doctors.

"I talked to your grandma. She said that theres nothing to worry about." Alex said before I could continue what I was saying earlier.

"But it won't be okay. I killed your girlfriend Alex. I don't know if you realize this but that is pretty bad!" I said.

"Lil, its okay. I hated her anyways. And plus she said she was gonna kill you one day so hey. Better her than you." He said reassuringly.

I smiled to suppress my feelings of guilt and hatred toward myself.

After they finished the tests, Alex drove me home. When we got there, Grandma was waiting.

"Hurry and get her in!" She whisper screamed to Alex, even though we were already walking in the door.

I sat down and looked at the giant book sitting on the table.

It was called "Curses and Reverses".

"They call your curse 'The Winter Witch Curse'" Grandma said, opening the book to the page.

The picture was of a girl, from around the 16 hundreds and she looked like my mom kinda.

"That is my grandma." Grandma said pointing to the picture.

Before I could say anything there was a loud banging at the door, and then I passed out again.
