"Watch out, Ervin!" was the last thing I heard before tripping over some wires.

Am I going to die today? Someone helped me up by the arm.

That's unlikely of him to help me... he was far away.

I tried so hard to keep my cool, and my female dance partner was absent minded and uninterested, so I think I got out of the situation without anyone seeing me feel anything.

I couldn't keep my focus for the rest of that day.
