"WHAT THE HELL NAMJOON?!"

"I'M SORRY- IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!"

"ACCIDENT MY A*S!"

Taehyung didn't realize he was screaming at his friend until he was panting for air.

"For f*cks sake!" He cursed, throwing a pillow at Namjoon. "I'm sorry- he's still in the guest room-" "He better f*cking be!" Taehyung shoved past Namjoon, anger fuming from his skin.

If Namjoon was right, Jungkook's been in there for practically 2 days. He had to stay at the police station a little while longer than Jungkook, but he was proven innocent. Although, Jungkook's caregiver was still on the loose.

"Kookie?" Taehyung asked against the guest room door, slightly leaning against it. "It's Tae Tae, can you please open the-"

The door swung open, and Jungkook came running out, clinging tightly to Taehyung like his life depended on it. His nails dug into Taehyung's back, and his face wet of tears soaked his shirt.

Taehyung sighed at the little's sobs, and glared over at Namjoon- who was looking down at the floor in guilt. "Kookie, are you okay? What's wrong?" Taehyung asked, brushing the little's brown hair away from his face a bit.

He needed a shower.

Since Taehyung knew he wouldn't be able to get anything out of Jungkook until he calmed down, he carried the younger back into the living room, and sat him down on his lap. The little wrapped his legs around Taehyung's waist and arms around his neck, clinging to him like a sloth.

"Are you okay?" Taehyung asked him softly, making the little look up to him. "H-hurts~" Jungkook told him, looking into Taehyung's eyes. "What does, bub?" Taehyung asked caringly, keeping eye-contact. "T-ummy." The little whined, leaning forward to hide his face in Taehyung's neck. "Kookie's hungry." Taehyung told him, and Jungkook looked up to him with a shocked expression. "Come on." Taehyung carried Jungkook over to the kitchen, and Namjoon sat down awkwardly in the living room, not sure what to do.

Taehyung set Jungkook on the counter, and smiled at him before looking for something to make. He made the little a sandwich, and Jungkook had stopped crying once he was done. Jungkook pouted as he took a small bite, his stomach growling loudly in anticipation. "Now, can you please tell Tae Tae what happened?" Taehyung asked the little, relaxing himself against the counter.

"Kwookie got hit and gwot scared, so he wan into da woom and waited for Tae Tae two come back so Kwookie could fweel bedder." The little explained best he could, slightly swinging his feet back and forth. "I'm sorry Kookie, Namjoonie didn't mean to hurt Kookie." Taehyung told him, holding the little's free hand. "Kwookie fought about wunning away, bwut den he wemembered da rules, and so he didn't and waited for Tae Tae by himself." The little added, his stomach being grateful for the delicious sandwich it was being fed. "I know, I'm sorry, bub." Taehyung frowned. "That's Namjoonie, Kookie. He was supposed to take care of you while Tae Tae was gone, and he didn't do a very good job. Did you eat anything while I was gone?" Taehyung explained. "Nwo." The little mumbled shyly, taking another small bite of the sandwich.

"Okay. Well, Tae Tae wants Kookie to know that it's important for you to eat. You have to eat food so you can stay healthy. Kookie wants to stay healthy, right?" Taehyung told him, aware Jungkook was speaking in a third person point of view. "Yeah..." Jungkook nodded slowly. "Okay. Tae Tae's gonna make dinner, and Namjoonie wants to apologize to Kookie for hiting him, okay?" Taehyung seemed to ask more than tell.

"Can Kookie let Joonie apologize?" He added, looking into the little's eyes. "Kookie don' wan' two talk to Joonie." The younger whined. "But, when Kookie does something wrong, he needs to apologize. And if Kookie accidentally hit Tae Tae, Kookie would want to apologize, right?" Taehyung exclaimed. The little seemed shocked. "Yes! Kwookie never wan' to hurt Tae Tae!" Jungkook told him, wide eyed and offended. "That's how Namjoonie feels. He's sorry for hurting Kookie, and he really wants to apologize." Taehyung pouted. The little also pouted, and telepathically told Taehyung okay.

Taehyung called for Namjoon, and the other hesitantly came over.

"Joonie's sorry for hurting Kookie, he really is." Namjoon told him, Taehyung looking for any signs of fear on Jungkook. "He didn't mean to, and he hopes Kookie can forgive him." He added, looking into the little's eyes. Jungkook looked back into Namjoon's eyes for a second, and stuck his bottom lip out for a second before tilting his head to the side a bit.

"Kwookie forgives Joonie..."

The little nodded his head a bit, and swung his feet back and forth. "Thank you, Kookie." Namjoon smiled at the little, and opened his arms for a hug. Jungkook leaned into the hug, and smiled at the body warmth.

'Progress'

Ability to talk to someone who made a mistake, check.

Taehyung went over to the refrigerator to make something for dinner, while Namjoon and Jungkook carefully bonded. The other took the little into the living room by his hand, not carrying him for he feared he might scare the younger. Namjoon turned on a Disney movie that the little had requested, and sat on the floor with him to hopefully secure their bond- and his apology.

Within the hour, Taehyung had made grilled cheese and tomato soup, filling the house with a beautiful smell. "Do you want to take a bath, Kookie?" Namjoon asked once Taehyung announced he was almost done. "Kwookie don' want to." The little told him, hugging one of Hoseok's stuffed animals. "You should take a bath, Kookie. They're very important." Namjoon told him. "Well," The little paused. "Kookie don' want to take a baf wif Joonie." He finished, not comfortable enough with Namjoon for him to see him exposed. "Well, would you let Tae Tae help you?" Namjoon asked, prepared for a no. "Yeah." Jungkook mumbled, eyes stuck to the screen.

"Here we go!" Taehyung smiled, handing Namjoon Jungkook's plate of grilled cheese. Jungkook wasn't sure what the sandwich was, never have seen or smelled something so good. "Wat is dis?" The little asked as Namjoon paused the movie. "It's grilled cheese, Kookie. It's very good." Taehyung told him, handing Namjoon his plate, and soon sitting down next to the little. "Otae." The little nodded, and picked up the good smelling sandwich. "Hot!" He yelped as he immediately dropped it back onto his plate, and whimpered as he put his fingers in his mouth to cool them down.

"Yeah, it is a little hot, Kookie." Taehyung and Namjoon laughed. The three waited a little bit before taking their first bites, all going for the grilled cheese first. "Is still hot!" Jungkook whined, squirming around at the hot food in his mouth. "It's gonna be hot for a while, Kookie." Namjoon smiled. The little pouted, and crossed his hands over his chest as he swallowed his first bite.

"Is good though." The little decided to wait until it was a bit cooler, making Taehyung smile. "After dinner, we have to take a bath, alright?" Taehyung told the younger, taking a small bite of his grilled cheese. "Otae~" The little groaned, biting his lower lip in anticipation for his food to cool down.

Sorry, I've been distracted for the past 3 hours by Twilight, and earlier I was on Tik Tok for like 2 hours, so my procrastination was successful today for distracting me 👍
