Drew's POV
Life can be a strange mystery. One moment everything can be fine, and the next it's changed forever. Elliot James, a naïve 15 year old I used to help around this crime filled town of L.A., DEAD. I looked around... no one cries, no one makes a sound, no one cares. The sermon was non-realistic....
"This boy was a nice boy, This boy was a good boy." No offense Pastor, but you sound like Dr. Seuss.
I took a deep breath, and ran a hand through my hair as people started to put the flowers on his bed. I put on my sunglasses and walked up to the grave. "I cared kid."
'There lies a free spirit. someone who found a way out. There lies a soldier.'
I walked to my Aston Martin AMV10 closing my eyes as a tear escaped. I shook my head, and started the car. I need a drink, I thought as I went down the road.
A few hours later I walked into my condo kicking off my shoes, starting for the kitchen. My place smelled of muffins and cookies, so I knew my Mom had come over today. I looked at the time and nearly screamed. "Shit, shit, shit." I said just as my phone rang.
It was her.
I stared at my phone. Should I answer? Should I not? It rang again, and I groaned picking it up. "Hey baby, what's up?" I said putting on mock happiness.
"Where are you?" She screeched and I winched. Damn, has her voice always been so horrible?
"Where I'm supposed to be. At home eating my Mommy's cookies." I responded throwing a cookie in my mouth smirking.
"Drew, my parents are waiting!!" She cried sounding like a monkey. Wait what? She said parents? She did right?
"Parents? We never discussed that." I said bemused by her outburst.
"It was a surprise." She responded and I shuddered. "This isn't working out, sweetheart." I said suddenly.
"What? Do you know who I am? I will ruin you!!" She screamed and I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah, good luck with that. It was good while it lasted, the sex was great. blah, blah, blah. Adios." I said hanging up just as she began another rant.
Why do I always find the crazy chicks?
I walked around the counter and to the living room. I grabbed the remote, as my feet found their desired destination. The Coffee table. I began to flip trough the channels looking for something to watch, and when I settled on Sportscenter, my phone buzzed. Tyler, my brother.
One night alone. Just one. I said looking up at the ceiling which seemed to be going distort at the moment.
My phone rang once again and I put my hands up in the air for dramatic effect, grabbing the phone off the sofa. "Yes little brother?" I asked sounding a little too rude.
"Hotties 12 o clock. Get your ass down here now." He said before hanging up abruptly.
Moments later my phone buzzed with pictures of some girls that were pretty, but not my type. But this one girl in the background stood out. I stared at her for a good 5 minutes, before I shook it off.
I went to my text messages, and sent my brother a text. 'Be down in 45.' I said before running to the shower.
Now that's what I call hot.
I took my time getting ready after my shower, making sure I smelled and looked well before my night began. When I looked perfect, I left out of the house walking to my BMW out beside my Aston Martin. God, I love my cars.
I started the engine and sped down the road, going to the club in downtown L.A. When I got there it was 10:35 p.m. and I walked to the front of the line, not bothering to wait in line.
The paparazzi were snapping pictures of me as I walked into the club smiling at the bouncer. His name was Mike, a friend of mine from high school.
I walked in, and immediately saw my brothers in VIP with some girls. Evan saw me and waved. I nodded signaling one minute walking to get my drink from the bartender.
"Same as usual?" He asked and I nodded, " You know it, straight Vodka." I responded nodding at a girl, who was eyeing me seductively.
The club was vaguely dark with lights hitting certain spots making it look radiant. People danced and smiled looking at their friends and significant others grinning with ecstasy.
Sometimes I find myself wishing for love like that, happiness like that, but I can't find anyone who'd love me.
I sighed turning back to the bartender, who smiled sadly at me. "Here's you drink." He said and I nodded, "Thanks bud, and tell Danielle I said hey."
I said thinking about high school with Danielle. She was my best friend, but she also taught me how to be a heartbreaker by breaking my heart.
Yes, this guy is the guy that stole my love away, but I respected him because she loved him, and if she loved him he had to be a pretty decent guy.
He nodded and smiled at me. I turned walking up the stairs as I took a sip of my vodka. I walked to my brothers and smiled at them. Tyler looked at the girls and said something before walking to me.
"Hey Bro, what took you so long?' He asked giving me a hug. I shook my head, thinking of a good excuse.
"So many patients, and not enough Drew to go around. I think some just come to see me." I said laughing and hitting his back as we walked to the table.
Ali's POV
I laughed at the stupid joke Stephanie told as we sat at a table in VIP with some of our friends. I felt someone staring at me so I looked around to see no one. " Hot guys 8 o clock."
She said pointing to a table behind us. My sister looked and nodded.
"They are yummy." She said nodding.
"Especially that one." Stephanie said nodding.
" Omg, he's staring at you Ali." They squealed in unison.
I rolled my eyes as they squealed louder as I sipped my now empty cup, and laughed at myself for doing so.
"He's coming over." Marissa, my sister whispered, as I felt someone touch my shoulder lightly.
"Hey." He said his voice husky and masculine. If he looks as good as he sounds, he must be gorgeous.
"Hi." I said turning to face that god of a voice..... and god of a body too. This guy was sexier than sexy.
He smiled gorgeously at me, and I cleared my throat looking at him. "Can I buy you a drink?" He asked and I paused thinking about it.
My sister kicked me under the table, and I winced before turning back to him. "Sure." I said standing as he took my hand walking us to the bar.
He looked confident as he ordered me my desired drink, then turning to me smiling his gorgeous set of pearly whites at me.
"So what's your name?" He asked me as he took my hand gently walking us to the dance floor.
"Alyson, but call me Ali. What's yours?" I asked ignoring how good his skin felt on mine.
"Andrew, call me Drew." He said as he delicately put my hands on his shoulders and put his hands at my waist, starting to sway to the beat.
" You know Ali, you're a beautiful woman." He suddenly pointed out, his hot breath making me blush.
"Thank you." I responded and he nodded spinning me around, showing his dance techniques off. This guy was amazing, this had to be an act.
He suddenly pulled me to him, and he looked at me lustfully as our crouches pressed against each other. I gasped as I felt what he was trying to show me, and my breathing caught in my throat.
He lowered his face to mine blowing his breath across my lips before pressing his lips against mine so soft, I wouldn't have guessed he did it if I hadn't saw.
I smiled. "Let's get out of here." I said as he smiled at me.
"Your place or mine?"
