Deku's POV-
It was the best day ever today. Not for any particular reason, it was just sunny, there was warm weather, and overall very calm. We had a few days off to rest, so I was spending it at Kacchan's house, which is where I was at the moment.
We weren't doing anything in particular, he was just doodling in his notebook while I was writing in my hero analysis book again. I was pretty into it when I heard him groan over dramatically.
"Yes, Kacchan?" I said putting my book down.
"Ughhh, how long are you gonna be writing in that book? It's already been close to two hours and you're still at it" He said, leaning back into his bed, just staring at the ceiling.
"Oh, sorry, I guess I did get a little too carried away. Was there something you wanted to do?"
"Just anything to get you away from that book. Hey, are you hungry yet? I could make lunch right now." He said, starting to sit up. I gave a small giggle but agreed anyway.
Kacchan's room was very neat. Everything put away exactly where it was supposed to, and there wasn't anything unnecessary out in the open. He was the best student there could ever be. He was smart, and he knew that. I smiled to myself as I thought about how he was the nerd, more than I was.
We headed to his kitchen and I sat down, watching him get started. He was very talented in everything he did. That included making food. Was there something he wasn't good at?
Actually now that I think about it, there are a few things that come to mind. Talking about emotions was one, for example.
"Hey, why don't I give Todoroki a call to see if he wants to join us." I said, pleased with my own idea. It wouldn't be fair if I kept Kacchan all to myself.
"Sure, maybe he can help me make dinner since you absolutely suck at it." He said in his usual hoarse voice.
I just laughed and scratched my head. "Haha.. yeah, I don't really know anything about making dinner. I would offer help, but we saw how that ended up last time" I said, shivers running down my body as I thought about the time I tried to help Kacchan in the kitchen, but only ended up burning the food and almost burning down the house.
"Seriously, I don't get how you're so dumb. You're lucky the old Hag wasn't mad at you." He was getting the kitchen supplies ready and taking out the food that he needed.
He looked really cute right now and I blushed. Wow, he's really my boyfriend, isn't he?
I quickly pulled out my phone to distract myself and sent a quick message to Todoroki, asking if he wanted to join us for dinner. He replied a few minutes later saying he would come in about half an hour, there was something he needed to do first.
"Just in time for dinner then." Kacchan said. I got butterflies again just hearing him speak. I don't think I'll ever get over this feeling, and I hope I wouldn't.
Kacchan finally finished and the door bell rang. I skipped to open the door saying, "coming!" on my way there. I opened the door to find him smiling at me. I instantly blushed and got nervous. I mean who wouldn't?
"Hello Deku," He gave me a quick hug and came in. "What's that smell? It's so good."
"I made tonkatsu. It wasn't too hard." Kacchan said. He meant it. He was working the kitchen like no one was watching. It was very entertaining to say the least.
We all sat down and gave our thanks, then took a bite out of it.
"MMMM THIS IS SO GOOD KACCHAN! WHERE DID YOU LEARN HOW TO MAKE THIS?" I said.
