~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Michiko's POV:

"Close your eyes okay?"
Mary said.
"Alright!"
I replied.
Mary walked me into a room as she held my hand.
"Alright! You may open your eyes now"
As I opened my eyes I saw a huge ballroom that was all lit up.
I looked around amazed, then I realized me and Mary were the only ones here.
"I brought you here so we could dance..since we haven't done it in a while because we were both busy with matches.."
Mary said softly with a little smile.

I turned around to her to look at her.
As she stared at me with a soft smile on her face a smile slowly started to form on my face.
"Awhh Mary! I'm so glad we get to dance together again!"
I said enthusiastically.
"Dear, of course!"
Mary said happily.

Mary's POV:

I was really surprised by the way Michiko reacted, I wouldn't have thought she would be this happy about it!
"Well..would you like to dance..?"
I said quietly.
"Oh right!..of course!"
Michiko said whilst she started blushing a little.

"Wow..we haven't done this in a while.."
"Yes,that's true..I suppose we should make the best of it!"
Michiko said.

Michiko's POV:

While Mary got ready to dance I realized I didn't have the fitting outfit on!
"Hold on..Mary shouldn't I wear a dress?.."
"Ah right! I completely forgot!"
Mary said as she turned around and walked off to a far corner in the lit up ballroom.
As I patiently waited for Mary,I heard Mary's muffled voice say:
"Yes! This one is perfect!"
She turned around with a long, sparkly, elegant red dress in her hands.

Mary's POV:

I can't wait to dance with Michiko..She will look beautiful in this dress!
"There you go!"
"Wow Mary, thank you! This dress is really pretty!"

Michiko's POV:

"Not as pretty as you though"
Mary said teasingly with a cheeky grin on her face.
"Oh Mary! Stop it!"
I said whilst hiding my face behind my fan in embarrassment.

When i finished giggling I went to undress in one of the little closets in the ballroom.

Mary's POV:

As soon as Michiko got out of the closet I couldn't believe my eyes..she looked so gorgeous in that dress.
As she walked towards me shyly I started clapping softly.
"You look beautiful Michiko!!"
Michiko got flustered so she turned away and thanked me quitely.

Michiko's POV:

As I turned back to Mary, she held out her hand to me.
"May I have this dance..?"
She asked politely with a smile on her face.
I nodded quietly and took her hand.

As we started to dance slowly,soft music started playing and the ballroom seemed more..magical in some sort of way.

As I followed Mary's steps she turned me around and held me closer.

Mary's POV:

As I held Michiko closer I felt her becoming more relaxed.
Michiko turned around to me with a smile on her face.
We held each other close..as if it was the last time we'd ever see each other again.
I felt so at..home..
It made me so happy to be here..especially with Michiko.

Michiko's POV:

Mary held me closer and close, I just closed my eyes and went along with everything that she did.
I started to pull her closer to me and put my head on her chest. I could hear her heartbeat, for some reason if felt comforting..
I was finally being held again..being hugged...I felt appreciated again.

Mary's POV:

As Michiko started dancing slower and slower i started to put my hand on her head while she rested her head on my chest.
I stroked her head, which seemed to make her feel more comfortable.

It really made me happy to see her like this.
She does her best in matches and doesn't get enough rest and she doesn't really take care of her health..
She deserves to be treated like this,she deserves to be loved and appreciated.

Michiko's POV:

During the time me and Mary danced we were both quite..still it felt as if we were communicating at some point.
I took my head off her chest and looked at her.
She smiled softly as I turned my head and smiled at her.
It felt as if it went on for ever.
"Hey Michiko-"
"Hey Mary-"
We both said at the same time.

Mary's POV:

As Michiko got embarrassed and turned away,I gave her a hug.
Michiko looked confused at me.
"You really mean a lot to me"
I said.
Michiko looked at me,and then started smiling at me.
"You mean a lot to me too."
She replied while still hugging me.

Michiko's POV:

We both pulled away at the same time and stopped dancing.
"Would you like to take a break from dancing?"
Mary asked me.
"Sure! Should I make us some green tea?"
I said with a smile.

"Yes good idea!"
Mary said.
"I'll make some cookies for us!"
We both ran off to another room to get supplies.
I found a tea kettle and made us tea.

Mary's POV:

As I ran off to a room,I found baking supplies.So I decided to make cookies for us.

~some time later~

Michiko's POV:

As I finished boiling the tea in the kettle. I brought the kettle with tea and two China cups to a table in the ball room and carefully placed them on the table.
I saw Mary walk in with a tray of cookies.
I started pouring tea in the China cups.
I saw a glimpse of Mary as she carefully decorated the cookies with a bit of frosting.

Mary's POV:

As I saw Michiko take a seat at the table I added small sprinkles with fruit flavor and handed Michiko 2 cookies,after that I took 2 cookies off the tray.
"I baked lots of cookies so if you want more go ahead and take some off of the tray!"
I said with a smile.

Michiko's POV:

I smiled at her.
I took a bite of Mary's cookies and my eyes widened.
"Mary this is delicious!"
I said as I slammed my hands on the table.
"O-oh my apologies I didn't mean to do that.."
I said feeling embarrassed.
"No no it's okay Michiko don't say sorry! Also..thank you"
Mary said with a kind smile.

We both laughed and smiled at each other.

This was so fun to write hehe!! I really enjoyed writing this,especially because my cat was sleeping on my lap hehe ♡(о'∀'о)
