I woke up in the morning and felt really tiered so I thought that I was going to lay in that day. In the distance I heard my mum say to my brother "where's your sister?"
"She's in bed" I heard him reply.
She then came into my bedroom and started stroking my back. The stroking then paused.
She then said in horror, "What's this on your back?" I had no idea what she was going on about so I asked her what.
"This red mark on your back." I hd no idea, so I just said that I didn't know.
Later that day my mum and I went to the doctors. They had done all the tests and they said they think its fine but they just had o check. We waited for about half an hour then the doctor came in and looked worried on his face.
He then said quietly to my mum, "your daughter has lumina" my mum face looked so scared and shocked that I had to ask what it was. As my mum was speechless the doctor had to tell me it was cancer.
I got so upset and then after about a month my hair had fallen out. I started getting regular nose bleeds so we went back into hospital and I was feeling really bad. All my family was here and I didn't want to dye at such a young age. My mum came into the room and my voice was getting quieter, then the monitor just held one long beep.
My mum screamed and burst out into tears and the rest of my family knew what had happened. Every one was crying. They had to learn to live without me.
