All I could see was darkness
I couldn't move
I couldn't open my eyes

Was I dead?

All I could do was hear
I could hear every single noise
Many machines and stuff
Am I at a hospital?

"Lydia?" I heard a familiar voice say.
I tried to move but no

"I know you can hear me. This is Dylan" the voice said
Dylan is my best friend of all time.

"Ok... Lydia your gonna be fine... Okay? I'll be here until you wake up"

That made me feel a little bit better

I opened my eyes and felt a bright light
I saw Dylan sitting on a chair next to me

"Hey, you alright?" He asked me with a smile
"Idk am I?" I asked
"Your gonna be out of the hospital in some hours" he said
"Okay" I smiled

"I don't wanna go to school tomorrow" I said
"Of course not, you were just at the hospital after you got bet up... Duh" Dylan said

I giggled

"I'm gonna be with you tomorrow so it's not gonna be that boring" he said and took a sip from his water
"Dylan you don't have to, you have school to you know"
"HEY, Dylan here is NOT going to school tomorrow okay?!!?" He said
"Okay, okay" I giggled
"We're gonna watch a movie and have fun😊" he smiled

"But seriously why did they beat you up like that?!" He asked me seriously looking at my scars in my face
"Idk, they just do things like that to me" I said
"Ugh, they're NOT worth it" he smiled
