Okay maybe that's a stretch haha. But, I'm not good with guitars or at least I wasn't then. So, it's a year or two, I'm trying to learn to play Viva Indifference by Frank Iero and the Patience on my guitar. I have my moms guitar that she gave me and I have a flimsy one that she got from the internet that can't stay in tune. The video I'm watching says to tune to drop C Sharp. And what does my dumb self do?
I tuned up.
C Sharp is WAYYYY up. So of course, the string snaps (which also sucks because it hurts you if your hand is in the right spot, which it kind of did.)
So, I'm like okay... that's fine. I can get someone to fix it.
Then I'm trying to learn Oceans, which is also by him. I tune up because apparently I didn't learn my lesson?
SNAP!

By the way I got the good guitar fixed. The other one didn't even have the right strings so they were ripping the bridge off and you could stick a paper under it. It's built as a classical guitar which is supposed to have nylon strings, but they have it steel strings. Yeah, they said it would cost 300 dollars to fix the entire thing and to just consider buying another guitar. Um, yeah I'm not paying that much haha
But yeah, that's how Frank Iero broke my guitar! 😂
