"alice get down hear" my mom yelled i grumbled and stumbled out the door ,she was waiting at the entertainment room when i walked in she looked up and spoke one word "shopping" i nodded realising she probably wanted me to get new clothes to impress Mr Daniels and his son whom i still didn't know the name of i think i may have heard a Jacob ,jack, jasper yes jasper that was or so i think is way anyway.i quickly through a light pink lacy dress it came to mid thigh and was strapless i then settled for a blue strapless bra and matching underwear i brushed my long hair put on some mascara and lip gloss then i text ed Ethan saying id be back later and we had to talk about something man that was going to be a painful conversation i didn't wait for a reply instead i headed to the car where my mom was waiting for me.i nodded politely at the driver i think his name was Ryan or something i lent my head against the window and i sighed this was going to be one long day
we had been shopping for 4 hours now and had stopped to grab some lunch id been going in and out of changing rooms all day now and had basically got the equivalent of three new wardrobe's as Mr Daniels insisted as i was going to be photographed alot i just need one more outfit it was the one i was supposed to where when we have the "engagement" party he was supposed to propose after a month of "dating" so it seemed more realistic if we had been spotted together before announcing the big "engagement" "i know just the place to get your big outfit" my mom exclaimed dragging me from my thoughts she paid and grabbed me pulling me to a shop i didn't even see the name before she sent me looking we arranged to meet at the changing rooms in half an hour so i turned when i saw her run in the other direction i looked around and picked up a few dresses but nothing really caught my eye.i was about to turn and leave when a shop assistant grabbed my arm and asked if i was alice penton i nodded and she squealed slightly you see i sort of a town star hear in Miami as i headline down at this really popular club in town she took a picture with me and asked if there was anything she could do for me i asked if she had any dresses she thought was look jaw droopingly good on me she thought for a second then said shed be right back she returned with the most amazing dress i had ever seen the back was floor length but the front was about mid thigh it was a peachy color strapless with diamante jewels encrusted across the top i thanked hr over and over she simply smiled i head for the changing rooms meet up with my mom say i had found the perfect dress i looked at the full length mirror and smiled the girl looked confident elegant and gouges all at the same time i spotted a tear leak from my mothers eye i hugged her and we head home stopping to get new makeup and lingerie which i didn't think nessiser but infinitely my mother did
when i arrived home my pernts went out to give me some space to tell Ethan he was coming in 4 hours so i decided to start to pack up my life i had left out some clothes for tomorrow and i was wrapping something i had gotten for Ethan so we would always be together last year he had gotten me a neck lace that said on the inside of the locket Ethan will always love Lorna no matter what so i had brought him a chain that said on the tag "alice will love Ethan with all her heat no matter how far apart" when i had finished the door bell rung and putting the gift in my pocket i took a deap breath and answed the door to the person i was about to hurt
