You groaned slightly as a soft thump hit the floor, and the door clicked shut. You fluttered your eyes open, looking at the speaker on the ground.

"Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me."

You rolled your eyes, stuffing your head under the bed. Whoever placed the speaker made it loud enough to not go back to bed, but also not hurting you ears. Until the chorus came on and was raping your ears.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" You shouted, punting it through the door. Like you actually made a hole in the door.

"Angel asked me to do that to get you up." A shaky head slowly peaked up from the hole. "I'm sorry, didn't think it'd do that-"

You groaned walking over and opening the door, rubbing the sleep from your eyes. "Well I'm up. The fuck you need?"

"F-F-Food... Angel asked.. asked for help with the fo-od." She pointed shakily over to the stairs, leading down. "A-And they-they got the elevator to... to work."

"Cool, I'm gonna get dressed. Tell them I'll be down in a bit." You closed the door, not waiting for a response. You scrolled through your small sets if outfits. You normally didn't do much, so you found no need to load yourself up on outfits.

You slipped on a pair of jeans and a crop top shirt. Checking yourself in the mirror, you fixed your hair to make it look less like behead and smoothed out your fur. You put on some simple lip gloss and made your way to the elevator.

The ding of the elevator clicked in your ears as the doors opened up. On instinct, you ducked down, just barely missing the bottle that flew over you and smashed against the wall.

"NOW SHUT IT YOU LITTE BUMBLE BITCH!" Husk growled at the same little demon that knocked on your door earlier.

"I-I didn't say anything?!"

"DO YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH?!"

She frantically shook her head, crawling back.

You walked over, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Calm down, Husky. You're supposed to be kind to others who are staying."

"FUCK YOU BITCH, I'LL DO WHATEVER THE HELL I WANT." His fur spiked up and his claws scratched against the counter, his wings spread out, ready to attack.

"Please don't- don't fight!" The younger demon said, resting her hand on yours. "He's just a little bit... bit drunk from last night. And I made him.. him mad. Please do.. do not fight my war." She bowed lightly in front of you, taking you aback.

"Oi, how old are you?" You asked her.

"M-me? Oh, uhm, 14..." she averted her eyes, almost in an ashamed manner. "I died after getting beaten to death by a group of kids in my school... I don't exactly know why... why I ended up here, but I think it has some... something to do with sexuality and beliefs."

Your heart ached for the poor demon. She reminded you of the orphans that lived near your bakery. They never got a lot of attention due to issues in your hometown, but when you had extra treats at the end of the day you'd sometimes go and drop them off at the orphanage.

"So you really are here for redemption?"

She nodded her head while shrugging. "I guess? I'm also here because I'm already in a little bit of debt towards someone. And I'm trying to get enough to pay them back and hire someone to- ....do something."

You raised an eyebrow, wondering why she said it like that. Shaking it off, you wished her good luck and headed over to the kitchen, where Angel was already making a mess.
