ch-6) Its over

PERCY POV:

I had a bad feeling today as if something was going to happen. I shrugged it off like it was a stomach ache and soon forgot about it. 

I made breakfast, did the laundry made the lunch and  started sharpening the arrows but what bothered me the most that I hadn't been pranked a single time till now.

After about two hours, I went outside to tell Artemis that I had done all the chores for the day. I went to her tent, to the dining area, the archery range river side but she was nowhere to be seen.

"Searching for my sister?" Thalia spoke up. I jumped a few feet in air. I didn't notice Thalia approaching me from behind. I nodded.

"She went to Olympus to get something she needed. She will be here in-" She was cut off by a blinding flash. Artemis flashed in front of us, smiling.

"Arty! Next time you go somewhere then please first tell me. I was so worried. And I have done all the chores for the day." I ranted away.

"You can do whatever you want." She smiled and I ran out for a swim in the clear water of the river.

PHOBE POV:

"I think Perseus is getting suspicious." I told Atlanta. We had deviced an epic plan to get rid of the that filthy male.

"Do you think we should do it I mean really? HE has done no harm to us." Atlanta said quietly.

"Urgh! He got Zoe killed! Don't you think that is enough?" I snapped.

"Um... Okay. When will we start?" She asked quietly.

"He has gone for a swim. He will come out in about an hour and a half for dinner so be ready. Don't forget what I told you to wear." I told her. She nodded violently  and rushed for archery practice.   

It ended in an hour as Artemis had some work to do. We were lucky. we had more time to prepare.

Atlanta and I sneaked to the clearing near Percy's tent from where he goes and comes from swim most of the time.

Atlanta lay down on the sandy area wearing old tattered cloths, not healing the cuts and bruises that she got during the practice to add on to the effect. 

She started fake-crying while I ran to get Artemis as we planned.

She was as usual in her tent.

I knocked hurriedly and put up my most worried and scared face.

Artemis came out "What happened?" she asked.

"Artemis, At-Atlanta n-near ri-ri-river... Urgh! just come!" I dragged her with me towards Atlanta.

She stopped dead in her track. Shocked to see Atlanta in tatters and crying.

Artemis rushed towards her and dropped to her knees beside Atlanta.

"What happened?" She asked, giving her a piece of ambrosia.

"Per- Percy told me what he wanted to do with-with me. I re-refused so he..." As decided she burst out crying in Artemis's lap. 

Artemis was literally fuming with anger. Her fist was clenched and she gritted her teeth. 

Just to our convinience Percy came out of the water.

"Hey Arty! What are you do-" Percy started but Artemis slapped him hard. He fell down on his butt.

 "What was that for?" He asked, rubbing his cheek.

"I thought you were different from other men. But no! You showed your true colors by by trying to rape my hunter!" Artemis yelled at him.

"I never did-" He tried to say but Artemis cut her off.

"Get out of my sight! Go away!" She yelled. Percy had had enough. I could tell from his broken eyes.

"Yeah? Go away when I did nothing! Weren't you there when I took the oath? Didn't you hear that I would get instant death if I tried to break the oath?" He paused for a moment before continuing, "I thought you trusted me completely like I do! No! I thought at last I would have a family who would care for me when the whole camp including Anna-Annabeth betrayed me! I was fool to accept to join you Man- hating hunters! I should have jumped from Olympus instead! You know I have had enough! Every day your hunters send hoards of animals at me or play deadly pranks but I never complained. I am leaving! Just what will please you. Go get another guardian who would treat you all better than me. Do not expect me to come back!" He spat at us and turned to his tent. 

It shrunk to the size of a small ball. 

"Iris!" He yelled, "I allow you to show what I had forbidden you to all the gods that is if they want to watch it."

He transformed into a big eagle and flew away. Artemis stared at him as if wanting him to turn back and come again but he never did. She stared at him till her was a speck of black and fell to her knees. 

She turned towards us, glaring with puffy red eyes.

"Swear on styx that he really did it." She ordered. We had no choice other than drop our heads in shame.

Artemis started crying which is very unlike her. Soon all the hunters  arrived, hearing all the yelling from the clearing.

Thalia sat down besides Artemis, trying to comfort her and asking her what happened.

THIRD POV:

"Have to go to Olympus. You all have to come with me." Artemis ordered and they all flashed to Olympus . she shot an arrow to call an urgent meeting. Soon all the gods flashed into the throne room and sat down on their respective throne including Hades and Hestia who got their own thrones, courtesy of Percy.

"Daughter! What happened? Why have you called emergency meeting?" Zeus boomed but his voice showed concern.

Artemis didn't reply but asked Iris, goddess of rainbow to show all the memories of Percy that he had forbidden her to show.

An image appeared in the misty screen created by the rainbow goddess.
