Chapter 1

This chapter has mentions of death in it, nothing too bad just a heads up!

Elizabeth Pov

Its been 5 days since my father went missing, I have no idea where he could be.  It has been very stressful lately.

"What if somthing bad happened?" I ask my sister.

"Dont worry we will find him Ellie." My older sister Marget conforts me.

Father went on a work trip an has not returned yet. Its unsual we got no letter or notices of him staying longer.

Its supose to be over now, it just dosent make sense!

"Information on fathers disapearance has spread around town, people thinks he left us for a better life." Marget sighed.

I mean who wouldnt we are poor.

"I'm sure he just got lost or something!" I exclaim trying to gain hope.

"Yeah, thats probaly it. He will come home soon." Marget whispered wishing that was true.

Its been hard, our mom and oldest sister died of sickness. So its just me, my sister, and my dad left.

"I'm going to go to bed now marget." I tell her since it was late. "Ok ellie, goodnight." I hear as I walk to my small room.

I was tired but I also had a plan. I noticed many people going missing at a certian time. Many of them where found dead in the excact same forset.

So, thats where I go tomorow. I need to get rest, I have no idea what to excpect.

I woke up and it was dark, I looked out my window. The farmers where already out farming so it must be early morning.

This would be thr perfect time to leave. I grab my cloak and my dads old soward along with a little food. I walked pasted margets room.

"Goodbye marget, Ill see you soon." I whisper knowing she was still asleep.

I quietly made my way to the front door and headed out. I was nervous, but I had to do this.

I need to know if my dads ok or not.

I quitely made my way to the forset, not wanting to be seen. It was not a long walk till I found my self at the forset entrance.

I take a deepbreath in as I take my first step into the unknown. (lol i got that song from frozen stuck in my head now)

I walked and walked for hours, I started to grow very tired and scared.

"Father are you here?" I called out. No response, I tried again. "Father are you here?" I ask again trying to find hope.

I hear a twig break behind me.

"Father?" I ask as I turn around.

But he wasnt there, no one was.

Just an animal. I think to myself regaing confidence.

I keep walking around but I get a strange feeling. Like I'm being watched.

I hear a twig break behind me, I jerk my swoard around to see nothing. I start panicking.

I'm surely going mad! I tell myself.

Then I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn around to see a man but I couldnt see his face. He was taller than me and wasnt letting go.

He grabbed my wrist and started to drag me somewhere.

I squirmed and pulled trying to get out of his grasp but I couldnt. He also took my swoard so I could not use it for defense!

"Where are you taking me?" I ask, He just stayed silent.

He dragged me to a castle?

"NOW YOU I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS I NEED TO FIND MY MISSING FATHER." I yell at him.

He stops,

"Now thats not very lady like miss, my names howser and we will have the master find out what he want to do with you." Howser says.

"Well howser, I dont care now let me GO!" I say kicking him in his under place making him drop me.

Once he does I start running. After a few minutes I fell to the ground,
"Ow." I tripped over a root and twisted my ankle. I eventually passed out from tiredness.

This story was in my drafts for a month or so 👁👄👁.

Idk if I like it or night. What do you guys think?
