YUKINNA'S POV

I woke to a blinding light and my mom squealing like a teenager. "Oh look they are so cute!" She squeaked.

I groaned and saw that she was taking pictures with her phone. "Mom!" I rolled off the bed and headed for the bathroom, grabbing every thing I needed for a shower.

"Be quick we have to get down to the rink by 4:00. We're going to do all your other stuff up here though." I nodded and closed the bathroom door.

I quickly striped and jumped into the hot water. I felt myself relax in the steam. I washed myself and my hair, dried myself and headed back into the room where my mom and my aunt, Trisha were setting up all of the outfits, glitter, and makeup. Here we go again. I took a deep breath before clearing my throat.

"Yukinna come here  we only have" 5 "hours!!!" Trisha yelled.

Toby looked over at me and I blush remembering I was only wearing a towel. He smirked at me tacking in my appearance. I quickly hid my scared arms behind my back. I didn't want him to see them yet. He frowned at my action, but didn't question it.

Mom noticed my scarred expression and rushed me into the bathroom to change into my first performance outfit.

"Thanks." I whisper to the ground.

"You know you're going to have to show him eventually." She said slowly.

"Yeah I ... I know, I will, sometime."I didn't look up.

I heard her sigh before handing me the sparkly baby blue body suit. I hastily change, making sure the long sleeves covered every thing.

I walked out of the bathroom where Toby gave me a questioning look. My aunt  rushed me to the bed where she proceeded to put wight powder and silver glitter all over my face.

The competition was only a small one that would last two days. I was considered a pro, but I was still nervous as hell. I could feel my hand shacking as I waited for the speaker to call my name. I was sweating like crazy and felt like I was going to hurl at any given moment.

Finally I heard my name blare through the rink. I turned to Toby, who gave me reassuring smile before I stepped onto the ice. I found my way to the middle and took off as soon as I hard "shadows" (the violin mix I choose), come through the speakers. I was stiff at first but then I just let my body take control, spinning and sliding to the pulse of the music.

I heard cheers, but was to busy enjoying myself to care. When the beat stopped I took the elegant pose for a few seconds and then retreated to take the skates off my aching feet, I don't know if I'll ever get use to that.

As I stood, bear foot, talking to my mom, Toby came over and warped his strong arms around me. "You did good." His hot breath sent a chill down my spine. I don't know how many times I've heard those exact words but only now did they mean so much to me, only coming from his lips. I don't know why, we haven't known each other long an we weren't officially together, but I still only get that chill when HE speaks, only him! Wonder why.
