Kenma pov:
I had always thought I was Aromantic... that was until Kuroo graduated. We saw each other over the summer of course but when he has to pack up and move to college I was... sad? I felt like I was missing something. A piece of me? Something... important to me.
It was my first day of my third year and like I had always been doing for the past two years I was standing in front of a two story house waiting for the guy with rooster hair to walk out. That never happened though Instead I got A boy with a bleached mohawk running up to me. "KENMA!"
"What-" I turned to see Taketora Yamamoto. New 3rd year(like me)and Nekomas ace for the volleyball team.
"We are going to be late!" He grabbed my wrist and started pulling me to school.
"B-but Kuroo-" I tried to stammer
"Kuroo Graduated Dumbass!" He yelled now sprinting with me beside him having a hard time catching up.
We made it to the school gates and slowed down. I slouched and looked up at Yamamoto.
"Are you doing volleyball this year?" I asked holding onto my backpack
"Hell yea bro! I cant let Lev be the ace!" He say talking about a now second year player we have "What about you Kenma?"
"I dont know. Without Kuroo here I don't see a point of playing..."
"Kenma you have to play this year. Karasuno lost their ace and captain, I mean yea they still Have Tanaka and Noya (Tanaka was a loud wing spiker and probably karasunos ace while Noya was an outstanding Libero) Plus they have that killer setter and decoy-"
"Hinata." I said cutting him off knowing he was talking about a karasuno 2nd year who was short and loud with orange hair and really high jump.
"Anyways my point is, without the ace and their captain this year I think we have a pretty good chance of winning!" He was pumped up as always
"Yea but we are missing Yaku and Kuroo..." I say reminding him of how we lost our captain who was a very good middle blocker, and our star Libero.
"We still have Yūki and Lev." He reminds me
"What time our tryouts?" I sigh
"After school 3:30! Be there or be square cause you wont be a-round!" Yamamoto says before running off to his class while I walk into my new class.
