Kenma POV
School was normal except for I ate lunch with Yamamoto and not Kuroo. After school I walked into the club room to change into some practice clothes then went to the gym. The smell was the same and everyone seemed normal but something was off... the gym was missing a tall black haired boy with messy bedhair and a love for science. I sighed and looked around for a place to stretch and start practice.
After Practice/try outs were over Coach Nekomata informed me that I would be the new captain of the team in hopes that I would know a thing or two since I was best friends with Kuroo. I just nodded and grabbed my things ready to go home. My phone had a buzz and I checked it.

I felt my smile grow wider. His jokes were stupid but thats what made me love him. Wait no- not love him- I dont- not like that. Okay im putting my away phone.
When I grabbed my bad and threw it other my shoulder I turned to see a very tall figure in front of me
"Go away Lev..."
"Kenma Kenma! Can I be the ace this year! Please please please!" He was being so loud I cringed at the noise
"No Lev. Practice your receives and then we can talk about making you the ace."
"But Yaku already taught me-" I walked away from the tall boy and out the gym doors
I dont love Kuroo, I am just... sad because he was my best friend. Nothing more. I didn't love him. No there was no way. I wasn't physically attracted to anyone.
