chapter 12 😁

i rubbed my eyes and found myself lying in hamzah's arms. did we fall asleep?
i looked over at hamzah and he was fast asleep.
i checked my phone and saw that it was 3am.

"OH BOY 3AM 😁 I CALLED U MY GREEN MNM🙄" i sang to myself.

i realized that i was hungry. i wanted to wake hamzah up so i gave him a peck on the lips. and then another. and another.
he groaned and i saw his eyes blink. he smiled when he looked at me.
"hey sleepyhead," i said, kissing him again.
"hey y/n. did we fall asleep?" he asked, stretching his arms and sitting up straight.
"yeah," i responded.
"babe what time is it?" hamzah questioned.
"it's 3:02am" i replied, "and i'm hungry."
"me too. what should we have for a midnight snack?" he asked, rubbing his eyes.
"i honestly could eat a burger right now." i said.
"what a stupid idea. who wants a krabby patty at three in the morning?" hamzah said, stifling his laugh.
i bursted into laughter and he did the same.
"i'll go look for some chips downstairs," hamzah said. he got up to leave the bedroom.
"wait let me come with you," i said, grabbing his arm.
he turned around and smiled, then grabbed me and carried me on his shoulder.
i giggled as we made our way into his neatly decorated kitchen, with canadian flags and ornaments everywhere.
he put me down before kneeling down to open the cabinet. there were doritos, takis, lays, and many other chips. i grabbed a takis bag and he got doritos.
"you want something to drink babe?" hamzah asked.
i nodded.
he handed me a can of monster and he took one for himself. 
"we're gonna be so hyper after drinking these," i said, giggling.
"that sucks," he said, opening the can of monster and drinking it.
i laughed and we ate our snacks and chatted for a bit before we returned to his bedroom.

~ in his bedroom~

we were scrolling through tiktok for a bit before a random thought came to mind.
"hey hamzah, can i ask you something?" i said, turning around to face him.
"sure, y/n," he smiled.
"why haven't we met chase, claire and haley yet?" i asked, with a pout on my face.
"i never really thought of that, since were usually busy and stuff we never really got the chance to plan it out." hamzah replied, "but since we all seem pretty free this week maybe we should meet them," he smiled.
"really?" i jumped of excitement. "we should call the group chat! right now!"
"calm down jamal," hamzah laughed, "they're probably not even awake."
"they could be. who knows," i said hopefully.
we decided to text the group chat to see who was active.

me: hey bestys 😁

chase🏃🏻: hey besty i guess 🙄💯

claire🍗: HEY BEST FRIEND😁

yodel bitch😜: hey y/n 🥸

me: HOW ARE YOU GUYS ALL AWAKE WTF

chase🏃🏻: girl not you forgetting i have insomnia🤣🤣

yodel bitch😜: i drank 3 monsters and i cant stop dancing lol

claire🍗: me and julia are filming tiktoks and mews won't stop jumping on the christmas trè🌳😿

chase🏃🏻: NOT THE CHRISTMAS TRÉ🥲

hamzah❤️: hey, me and y/n just wanted to ask if you guys wanna meet up soon 😁

yodel bitch😜: YES IM FREE ON SATURDAY

claire🍗: YUPPP I CAN DO SATURDAY TOO

chase🏃🏻: sure i guess 🙄

me: OMG WAIT YES IM SO EXCITED 😁
[ y/n started a video call]

you and freakshow planned out your flights, tickets,  etc. and were fully prepared for saturday. it would be a 3 day trip to  texas, as chase insisted.  now all you needed to do was pack.

[video call ended]

hamzah and i cuddled and i gave him a goodnight kiss before we dozed off to sleep, the comfort and warmth of having each other making us feel happy as ever.
