She wasn't sure how long it had taken to actually get back to the villa, it seemed like two seconds but she had taken an uber to that spot in town and it definitely took more than two seconds just not longer than fifteen minutes. The drugs really were a trip there she'd zoned out and she wasn't sure if he'd said anything to her or she'd said anything to him. This was going to be a problem. He snapped his fingers in her face as she was trying to figure out everything and that really brought her back to reality. She looked at him.
"Huh?"
"We're here, this is the place, right?" He asked. She looked out of the window and after four attempts to register the numbers she was looking at and remember if that was the right address she nodded. It wasn't that she didn't understand the numbers as much as her brain felt like it was going too fast to recall the memory of where she had been staying.
"Yeah." She said and pulled the keys from her pocket. He snatched them from her hand and got out of the car. She did as well, kind of amazed he wasn't using the gun on her. Maybe he just believed that she was going to go with him now because she was. It did occur to her to run or something but she didn't really want to do that. She was far too intrigued with what might happen if she didn't. He opened the door and pushed her inside first. The villa was very nice. Two bedroom, two bathroom. The first floor was a huge open plan with floor to ceiling windows that overlooked the cliff side and the ocean below. They also let a ton of natural light into the area. The upstairs was far more closed off but there were glass tiles in the bedroom on the roof. It let the sun in and allowed her to see the stars at night.
"He owns this place?"
"Who?"
"Your partner?" Ryker asked.
"Uh yeah, mostly rents it out though because he's not here, he's in America where he works." She told him and walked towards the kitchen. Her mouth was painfully dry and she needed water. She pulled a bottle of it from the fridge and opened it to gulp it down. He came in after her and snapped his fingers in her face again. "What?" She asked after lowering the bottle.
"Get the jet."
"I'll have to register a flight plan, your name will have to be on it. If they follow after you they can-"
"They'd have to know your name, right?"
"Yes but-"
"Is it a private company?" He replied.
"Yeah, DTI is a private entity we own a jet." She nodded and took another drink of water. Her hands were starting to shake along with the rest of her body and she didn't like it. It already felt like she wanted to do more coke just to get that feeling back but she was well aware that was not a good idea. She guessed it was good he said he didn't have anymore anyway. "Unless you have a fake passport."
"I have a lot of things." He said. "Register it under the name Elliot Stromberg...not...not Ryker Hellstrom."
"Okay..." She said, "As long as you actually have the ID to back that up."
"I won't have fucking said it if I didn't." He snapped.
"Going to have to do it in Japanese cause that's where the company is and how it needs to be arranged." She explained.
"Just do it already, please. How long will it take?" He asked.
"They are going to have to send it here from Japan so-"
"Fuck..." He whispered, "Okay, fine...fine...rent a new one. Better one. One that is already here."
"With my money?" She asked.
