Chapter 4

The Streets Of Paris

Adrien was supposed to meet Nino at the Pont d'Iéna bridge in 5 minutes. He opened the gates of his home and didn't hesitate to go off into the night.

"Hey, Adrien! Your old man finally let you out tonight?" His friends from school, Kim, Max, and Ivan, were also trick-or-treating tonight.

"Hey, guys! Yeah, he did!" He crossed the street to where they were at.

"Are you heading over to Lila's Halloween party, too?" Kim asked him.

Adrien was perplexed. "I didn't know she was hosting a party."

"Yeah, it's a thank-you party for the class," Ivan began, "We all helped her with her homework when she had this rare right-hand disease called...?"

Ivan brought out a little piece of paper. "Idontrealyhavediseseitis...?"

Adrien wasn't convinced.

"Have you even heard of that disease before?"

Max pushed up his glasses. "She stated that the disease was rare, so technically, no one would be familiar with the disease. And I believe her."

"Oh...OK," Adrien shrugged. "Maybe I'll join you guys. I'm trick-or-treating with Nino, so I'll invite him over too."

He waved goodbye to his friends and went on his way.

As he nearly reached to Nino, he spotted someone running on the rooftops of Pairs. It was Ladybug, and she looks like she was in a hurry to somewhere. Her eyes met with him for a split second, but she was so distracted by him that she crashed into a chimney.

"Ooh," Adrien winced. Ladybug rubbed her forehead and gave a shy little wave to him. She spun her yoyo and zipped off to who knows where.

(Imma just leave it off here. I'll probably complete this story for next Halloween :p)
