Taxi in the Big Apple.

(Poem based on an assignment when I went to a museum and wrote it after a painting.).

In the city that never sleeps,

The determination is real as the driver drives three passengers,

in New York. A new Country, the

excitement is very real,

Passengers include a tired old man,

his wife is full of excitement, then

a stranger on the other side,

who's trying to go home,

Back to the driver to get them from,

point A to B in a very bad storm,

on the Manhattan Bridge, making everyone,

nervous and worried about not making it

to their home in lower Manhattan,

the couple's first day in NYC.
