" We had told you that earlier", Kindall said breathing shallow breaths "but you didn't hear us so we didn't remind you." Nabi sat a little closer to Jaylen as she began to reply. " It would have been okay! Plus, we can't leave until you make your wish." The boys eyes widened largely as they looked at each other surprised. " I didn't know that! How many can we have?" Kindall asked like he was in a child at a candy store.
" You can only have one and there can be no violence towards any creature." Jaylen went to the head of the bed and got under the covers as Nabi laid on the top of the covers.
"What rules did you break, you know in your mermaid kingdom?" Kindall asked Lili. The she hessitated. " We uh, we tried to get revenge on an ex friend." The boys realized we didn't just get our revenge. We killed her.
She did more damage then we could ever had done though. She set our kingdom to flames, how that's possible is beyond us. We didn't want to scare them. I didn't want to scare Jaylen. Right now, they've been the only kindness we've come upon since we left our incinerated kingdoms. Hundred's of lives lost in a maniacs control. But if we have to live on the land for fifty years, somehow, our names will be cleared and they will forgive us.
